1. I'm not a full time follower of LCM since all of my kids have graduated from there. I was going by an earlier quote. Should have addressed it as the DC at the moment. Thanks for the correction. I will be there tonight hoping their offense can keep up without being sloppy.
2. I would worry about LCM defense also. If you have watched the film of Vidor and Silsbee, the two big OL of Vidor #75 & #99 where they line up almost 90% of the time will indicate where the play is going. I'm sure coach Harrell has picked up on that. Those guys, for their size are quick off the line. They will switch from one side of the line to the other. 90% of the time the play is going their direction. If they split, one on each side usually the play is going outside on #99 side of the line. Not saying every time but most of the time. LCM's LB's better be quick and fast to react to the ball. LCM's Offense will have to play a lot better then they have in the past against Vidor. They need to come out like they did last week and execute the best they can. If so I think they will score and stay in the game until the end to make it close game. I'll go with LCM by 6pts.
3. Defense!! Defense!! Defense!! Should be a lot of that going on in practice this week. LCM's DL needs to do their job of plugging holes and linebackers stay focused on the run. I'm sure they're going to be hit from all sides. Vidor will control the ball like they always do and eat up the clock. LCM needs to control the their possessions of the ball as well. But its going to come down to defensing and stopping the slot t. You would think the coaches have figured it out by now. But the question is can the coaches, coach it into the players. I think if LCM starts off like they did last week it will be a close game but they will win it. They can't do like they have in the past and dig them selves in whole that they can't get out of. Vidor controls the ball to good to be playing catch up all night.
4. I wasn't there but the LCM team that played against Kinkaid showed no fight and was pushed around on both sides of the ball. Even the coach admitted to it after the game. Sounds like they made the adjustment they needed to make. What ever it was they need to keep it up. They have a battled on their hands next week.
5. I'm not there but it seems like LCM got some fight in them in the last two weeks.
6. It's not a team you would want to play on homecoming week. For LCM anyway.
7. It is going to be a long long long season for LCM. Scrimmage or not the coaches for LCM prepared their team to get whipped on both sides of the line. If you could have seen the game you would know that this let down does not come from the kids. Who were the spectators on the sidelines with the green and gray shirts and shorts on? “PREPARE TO WIN” you are wearing it go out and do it.
8. I was at the Vidor / LCM game. Montana only came out of the before the half on defense but he was back in before the half was over. Most of the starters was in most of the game. Go back and read the Vidor/LCM Broadcast thread it is pretty accurate except that Sezar never played.
9.
Can a LC-M fan or alumnus please tell me what is going on in North Orange? I can't believe the difference in the team. I know we lost a lot of talent from last year with Sonnier and Hunter Gonzales but all HS teams lose talent every year. Thanks for the reply.
Good question. We lost people in key positions and those guys had it in their heart, they grew salty over years of getting their rear ends handy to them every Friday night for reasons out of their control. Those guys did not have to be coached.  They pretty much carried the senior’s this year which where juniors last year on their shoulders. And the staff does not have the answer for it. But they will get that kneel down. Now which knee do you take right, left or both.
10. You guys know what this is all about. If the score was the other way around this wouldn’t even be a topic on this thread. It’s “FOOTBALL”, I bet there wasn’t one coach or player out there that did not have the injured player on their mind for a moment while he was being attended too. As for as kneeling do it if it makes you feel better. Congratulations to PNG on the win and the display of a successful football program. LCM fans well, I don’t know what to say. It has always been said look at the scoreboard before you start pointing fingers.
11. The coach is not that old just because his hair may be gray and thin. But if the rest of the coaches would get fired up like he does the Bears would probably be in a better position then they are in now. Hopefully things will turn around this week.
