    Reminder ..... Bayou Bats '01 (14U) Tryouts are set for this coming Saturday, 1:00 PM - 4:00 pm at the College Street fields in Beaumont. We are hoping to see a lot of ballplayers ready to play!!!

    Bayou Bats '01 will be holding a tryout for all positions.   Date: Saturday, Jan. 31 Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Location: College Street Fields, Beaumont   We had a fairly successful fall 2014 season and are now looking to build a strong team of ballplayers to compete in the Houston, Beaumont, and Lake Charles areas this spring. We plan to end our spring/summer season with a trip to either the USFA World Series in Panama City Beach, FL. or the USFA Southern Nationals in Gulfport, MS.   Please feel free to come out and see if this team is a fit for your player and your family.   If you have any questions please text, email, or call.     Bayou Bats '01 (14U) is looking for a player or two to join our team. We have lost a couple of players to injury and need experienced outfielders and/or middle infielders.   We are usually able to work around other schedules such as volleyball and school work.   We practice in Port Neches and play mostly in the Beaumont, Lake Charles and Houston areas.     Bayou Bats '01 out of Port Neches will probably be looking for a very small number of players.  We will evaluate players during open practices, I don't think we will hold a true tryout since the number of players needed is so small.   Although we are called the '01 team we are registered as 14U and played 14U this past spring.  We have a great group of players with mixed 2000 and 2001 birthdays.   If interested, please email  [email protected]
