16's won both games today by scores of 9-1 and 6-2

Brennan Moore(LCM) went 7 only allowing 2 hits in the loss

 

MC won game 5-0 behind a complete game shutout by Jace Bordelon

 

Game 3 will be Sunday at 2pm at Nederland.  Winner advances to regional in Rogers, Ark

OF Dylan Anthony's HR caps off a 12-2 win for Mid County Babe Ruth's 16's as they go 4-0 in July 4th Firecracker Select Tourney at Lamar. 

16's out scored their opponents 37-5 in 4 games.

Mid County Sr Babe Ruth advances to next round as they defeated Wharton today 8-1. They will travel to Rogers, Ark and compete in 9 team Regional starting 16th. Winner of Regional clinches a World Series berth in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
