On a place where the American and State flag should be. Prank or not, this is wrong. I can only imagine the emails PETA has already received this evening.

Yes, from the pole where the flag hangs seems very clear. My post was likewise clear. 

 

The pole by itself has no meaning. Now if they have removed the flag or trampled, I could see the issue with symbolism.

 

It is a cheesy prank and a crime. To try and make it some kind of disrespect to the flag issue is stretching that rubber band beyond the breaking point.

I know all about senior pranks.... Graduating from Central in the mid 90's, I've seen and done a lot... But this... Could you actually see kids talking about this and thinking it's funny? It's not at all...a dead animal that was shot in the head and strung up from a flagpole? I mean, come on now. You REALLY don't think this was a complete waste? And me being from 'the city' has nothing to do with this. Truth be told, I would prefer for that hog to be on my breakfast plate than strung up. How's that for a city folk.... This isn't farmersonly.com you know....

This is not a deer.  Too me its the same as killing a fox, coyote, bobcat, or any other predator.  Do you eat fox or coyote?  If I hung a coyote at the top of a flagpole....would you consider this a waste?

 

I ve killed several because I have livestock to protect....and a wildhog can kill livestock as well.

 

Your whole "flagpole" argument is a reach that is ridiculous. 

And yes I do see kids thinking this is funny. 

 

I have nothing else to say.

You think it's a reach, but it won't be the first or last time that you agree with me. In the past, I've also seen things that you've posted that was 'reaching'.

You dint have anything else to say, but really, no one really asked you to say anything from the very beginning, so your absence on this post most definitely won't be missed.... ;)

1st this is a forum where people post their opinions. I didn't know mr buddy garrity was only wanting a response from certain people...like yourself and not from me.  i invited myself it seems.  I probably have reached before....call me out then.  I want people to call me out when im wrong. 

 

So i take it that you took it personal that i think your opinion about the flagpole and what the flagpole represents or symbolizes is ridiculous? 

 

And actually i ve agreed with you before and also have disagreed with you....Selective Comprehension Memory ehhhh.
