There are some freak kids this year. Cole Wagner from Pennsylvania team looks like a grown up and swings like Griffey, Jr. And some kid hit one yesterday that ESPN tracked at 380 ft!!! That gets out of every Major League park

That one was a great game. This Pearland vs Pennsylvania game should come down to which pitcher can shutdown the other teams stix. Both teams hit very well. It may come down to who is home team. This should be an exciting game to watch......gotta pull for the Texas boys though.

I think Texas has better pitching than Pennsylvania.  If you noticed South Carolina had zero pitching against Pennsylvania and that was the difference.  Texas should win American side. Venezuela or Japan wins it all.

Yeah, Texas is about 4 strong in pitching with a few others that can come in and give a couple good innings. Pennsylvania may not be as deep but their top 2 are pretty good. I think Texas will win the American side provided they don't hit a snag if they play California in the finals. I know Texas beat them the first time but California is getting their mojo going. But California isn't to deep in pitching either. On the international side it's going to be really good games between the three left.

Problem is the stud will be eligible for PA... He was throwing low 80s and he is a lefty.... Need a 6th inning rally....

Pearland had a shot at the end but couldn't get a big hit.  The lefty for Penn can pitch.  Not overpowering, but he hit spots and changed speeds very well.

Pearland doesn't have to beat Penn twice.  They just need to beat Cali tonight and Penn on Saturday to make it to the World Series.  Pearland still have two of their studs left and they both throw 72-74 mph with good off-speed.  My opinion is the winner of tonight's game will make it to the World Series game.  Cole Wagner is a good pitcher for Penn, but all he throws is fast balls around 75mph with no off-speed.

At that age though if you can spot a 75-76 mph fastball that's all you need and he spots it pretty well. But, if he messes up and hangs it both Texas and California have the hitters to pounce on it. These next two games ought to be really interesting to watch.

Gotcha, didn't realize that. Texas needs to dig up a pitcher. They've depleted the bullpen. Hopefully they pull it out against Penn. There's no way baseball is played better in Penn than Texas. Lol
