I love them Raiders, but that secondary is pitiful. Receivers gotta catch the ball too. Let's get em next week guys. Good job PNG.

I agree! Not taking anything away from PNG cause they are a great team with good receivers, but I can't understand how we constantly got beat deep! I think it says more about our defense.. But I want to say again, their pass game is lethal. I just think we could have put up a better fight in secondary.

I might still be in the Lumberton parking lot for the game next week..lol lines aren't even moving.

Good game! I don't know whose team played for us the 1st quarter, but that wasn't us.

Good Luck Raiders the rest of the season! Wouldn't be surprised a bit to see Lumberton in the playoffs!

says a lot about PNG qb to come out and throw a pick on his first pass, and then step up and have a game like he did. That kid is really good! Didn't really help us that their receivers were wide open all game though, but in the end he made a lot of good throws..

if if lumbertons would have capitalized on turnovers then we could have had a better chance. And of course we gotta learn how to catch too, a dropped td pass doesn't help either! Good game PNG!

first of all thank you for the compliment it means a lot coming from ltown

Hey PNG fans just letting yall know trying to get out of the parking lot there is one line for a reason!!!!! And if I wasn't sure it was PNG I would have said everyone but both vehicles has PNG stickers. Thanks for giving me a heart attack by both almost hitting me while trying to make two lanes to get out

well at least they have parking lots and you don't have to park on the road.

Great to sit with biaplayer and liltex at this one.

Png has to shore up the middle of their front line on defense. Lumberton secondary needs some work.

I was impressed with the Png offense and the two-headed backfield of Yarbro and Rhoades for Lumberton. I think after Sullivan dropped those two early passes he redeemed himself nicely, he would be my player of the game, didnt hang his head and made plays after those early drops. Im really worried for Png though if they run into a downhill running team come playoff time.

Nice atmosphere out there tonight. My ears still ringing from that damn train horn, sheesh. Great crowd out there tonight.

Don't feel bad, the only team to really affect our passing game this year was WOS and we still had over 200 yards passing with them. I was worried that Ya'lls running game was going to keep us off the field. You guys do have a potent running attack.

    • How do you know that Harrison is not a big opportunity? I don't really know him, but maybe just maybe he is what Liberty needs. I was just wondering what you know about Harrison that doesn't make him a big opportunity.

    • Looking back at the exact wording, it seems like you are correct and it was the concrete barriers that were the ultimate problem. I mentioned it in my last comment, even if it was just the barriers, did Texas take his property? I think a case like US v. Causby might go a long way to proving his case. Causby had an egg farm and during World War II, the US government started flying four engine heavy bombers for the war effort, low over his farm at full power. The extremely loud noise killed a bunch of his chickens and caused many of the rest of them to quit laying eggs. Even though he legally still on the property, he sued, saying that the federal government had effectively “taken” the use of his property from him. The US Supreme Court sided with him, saying that for the purposes of the Fifth Amendment, the federal government had indeed taken away the use of his property. It wasn’t intentional but that didn’t matter. It seems like this case would fall somewhere along those lines.
    • That might have added to it but it said that they intentionally raised the roadway to help it act as a dam. Even if it was the dividers and no intent, did the state “take” his property without compensation? I think that it is interesting that a local landowner fought his case all the way to the US Supreme Court and won in a unanimous decision. So while he has not won his case yet, he won the right to have his day in court and possibly heard by a jury.
