I've got to be really careful with what I put on social media, but this is a point I feel strongly, but bite my tongue on. Had the roles been reversed, with Metcalf stabbing Anthony under the exact same circumstances, the same people demanding justice for Anthony now would instead be demanding justice for... Anthony.

Don’t recall the left worrying about the first amendment when the last administration pressured news outlets to squash Covid data they disagreed with, which they actually did. But Trump makes a comment that will have no affect and NOW the first amendment is being violated. lol

If it walks like a duck and wicks like a duck… He is Brendan Carr’s boss, and he readily fires bosses who don’t do as he “hopes”, or who disagree with him. The First Anendment is the real issue here. He wants a news organization fined for airing positions he disagrees with. Why not comment on some of that?

I said "may". They reported 1905 to TEA for this year, last realignment the cutoff for D1 was 1903. Upon further investigation, I think probably not. The TEA numbers usually are the same as or about the same as the UIL numbers taken at the same time. But in some cases for whatever reason I know they're not. In 2023 the TEA number for Ball was 1951, but the UIL number was 2030. Hopefully somebody can explain why the UIL numbers are sometimes higher.

After seeing Biden in the debate, did you believe the Doctor when he said Biden was a sharp as ever? Seems to me with as much as Trump is in the public, staying up late and talking as old as he is, he appears to be in great shape, so I have no reason to believe the Doctor is lying. Fun fact, based on that report Trump and I take the same meds for Cholesterol..... Ezetimbe and Rosuvastatin.

Keep Your Opinions To Yourself…OR ELSE!

You consider that an order? 🤣 "They should lose their license! Hopefully, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as headed by its Highly Respected Chairman, Brendan Carr, will impose the maximum fines and punishment, which is substantial, for their unlawful and illegal behavior. CBS is out of control, at levels never seen before, and they should pay a big price for this," Trump continued in his post. -
Definitely a local guy but he's a local right now not originally from the area...dont think he's been on a state title staff, but he did coach in a state title game recently

The crybaby left always using the term democracy, when they can’t follow the first rule…..majority rules. Also in a democracy, you don’t dismiss a sitting president and replace him with a fool just because you think he can’t win and you aren’t sure he could last another term…..and I don’t even like Biden, but this was wrong and unconstitutional. CBS falsified their communist candidate’s answers during a presidential run. What could be more democratic? Actually, it was so treasonous that they may go under with the multi-billion dollar lawsuit. When subjects like this arise, the crybabies run and hide. Whataboutism, whataboutism, whataboutism……wahhhhhh.

Yes & no. Our neighbors helped teach him as we all shared the lease of the plane when dusting was needed. Old Piper Cub retrofit with dusting equipment. Not that difficult. Would only go about 60 & there isn’t much to run into in Dalhart. LOL Later, he flew helos for Uncle S, and became a flight instructor. Taught private flight lessons for decades here in La Porte. Started as a hobby. Became a second job.

There’s not enough time for me to write everything down that I have learned from my grandfather. His life in a very small nutshell….Grew up with no father….started helping out with what jobs an 8 year could do and then by 11 he was working as much as he could. Put himself thru Lamar…when on to become one of the top guys for gulf oil. Went over to Korea and oversaw from “ground up” building of a refinery. Earned a black belt while time spent there. Retired from gulf when chevron took over…then later went back to work for chevron for a short time. Master carpenter as well, but could do it all from plumbing and electrical. Him and my Dad built the two story house I grew up in with their own two hands as well as a two story barn. He learned to depend on himself and his God giving ability no matter the circumstances from an early age….the silent generation was produced by the greatest generation and to me there is not much difference. My great grandfather on my dad s side was in WW1. Lived to be 94…him and my great grandmother got married at 15 and 16 and went on to have 14 kids. We went to there house a many Sundays growing up and were able to listen to his life stories. i didn’t live thru the Great Depression obviously but I was able to see the people it produced these people were in and around my life quite often not just holidays like some people. We took the time to sit still and listen to what they had to say and learn from them. there a a very small percentage of those people left and even a smaller % of those type of people produced in this day in age. like you said I absorbed as much as I could….most of it stuck and some didn’t.

Which is sad, we live in a country that loves their handouts.
