The more I think about it the more bizarre it becomes. Donald Trump spent his first term claiming any attempts to hold him or his peeps accountable were illegal. His Presidential administration has had more criminal indictments and convictions by far than any other in history. To claim that all of the people (deep state bogeyman) were coming after him is loser talk. He hasn’t the courage to face the charges because he knows he’s a chiseler and a coward. This is the easiest one to argue I’ve come across yet if you consider the facts, which isn’t too prevalent on this blog.

I will try the medium version. Bodily Injury and Serious Bodily Injury. Both are injuries but in the Penal Code, Serious Bodily Injury is distinct from merely Bodily Injury. Both have their own definitions in the Penal Code. If a person causes Bodily Injury to a person it is a misdemeanor crime. If a person causes Serious Bodily Injury it is a felony. They are different. Force and Deadly Force. Both are force but Deadly Force is distinct from Force. An example is the Penal Code says that to remove someone from trespassing you can use the reasonable FORCE necessary to remove the person. So if you reasonably believe that Deadly Force is necessary, is it lawful? No, the Penal Code has a distinct definition of Deadly Force. The law on ending Trespassing clearly says that you can use the Force necessary. It doesn’t say the Deadly Force necessary. They are different. Why do these examples matter? Knife and Location-restricted knife. There are locations that a knife is not a crime but at certain locations, a Location-restricted knife is a felony. A school, as is being discussed , is no different than a bar. If you go into a bar for a drink or play in a band, it is not a crime to have a pocket knife on you. So if you ask me, can I legally go into a bar with a knife, my answer would be yes. A school is the equivalent so has the same answer. If you ask me, can I legally go onto school grounds with a knife, my answer would be yes. If you ask, can I legally go into a school or a bar with a Location-restricted knife, my answer would be no, that would be a felony. So is a knife in a school a crime? No, which I’d what I said. Had a question or my statement instead have been, is a Location-restricted knife a crime at a school, the answer would be yes, it’s a felony. I was correct, a knife is not a crime on school grounds. Had you responded to me ONLY with the comment of a knife being illegal in 46.03(a), I would say that you are wrong because you cited a law about a Location-restricted knife, not a knife. So were you wrong? No. You salvaged it when you stated it is a felony “if knife blade is over 5.5 inches”. You gave the Penal Code definition of a Location-restricted knife. Great job! 👍🏼 😎

Been twice. 1994 and 1999 TV does not do the elevation changes any justice. #10 for sure but #9 and #18 are pretty up hill.

Great news finding a way to win. Bad news playing to competition level. Still have to travel to SLU where they usually struggle, to NWU where they struggle, and at home vs HCU who is in 1st. Hopefully they will keep winning and win the SLC tournament. It is going to be tough but have a good record now

Should be a good final round. Have any of y'all been to Augusta National? If so, what really stood out about your walk around the course that maybe you don't get watching on TV? For me it was Hole #10. We stood behind the tee box and watched 2 groups tee off and you can tell there is an elevation drop. We wondered to a few different spots then ended up at #10 green. We looked back at the tee box and it looked like we were looking up a mountain. Elevation changes at that course are more severe than the tv shows. Also, concession prices. One place that could get away with charging crazy amounts and they don't.

It has truly been a pleasure officiating for Coach Sigler over the years. His professionalism and integrity in the game of high school basketball were evident every time his team stepped on the court. What set him apart was not just his knowledge of the game, but the respect he consistently showed to officials—even in moments where a call was questionable, he never tried to embarrass or demean. He addressed concerns with composure and always maintained the standard of respect. Coach Sigler also went above and beyond by allowing me to come speak to his team on multiple occasions, giving insight on officiating and teaching the do’s and don’ts from a referee’s perspective. That openness to educate and bridge the gap between coaches, players, and officials is a rare and appreciated quality. Wishing Coach Sigler a happy and well-deserved retirement. Your legacy of leadership, character, and respect will continue to influence the game and those who play it for years to come. -

If it’s the same guy I think you’re talking about. This would be a good hire for them. I believe the next two years will be a rebuild for them, but they got some talent especially from the JV team.

Great win for Ned over BH at BH. BH had too many errors, specifically overthrows to 1B. Got to get things back on track ASAP.

OK I'll take your word for it. However, I am reading lots on social media. The little bit I did get to see live (maybe 15 min.) had zero on BD, not even any replays. They didn't even say the word "Bryson" that I heard. Its hard to believe that even with 3 holes left, they could not show something. Maybe they did but I never trust espn. Too much politics.
