I totally agree with this message, cause I would travel almost two hours to do a game @4 finish that game then drive back almost an hour to do a 7 game, then drive home. I spent so many hours away from family, I would umpire 4-5 nights a week just cause I love baseball and umpiring, but if only the parents would suit up in umpiring uniform and become an umpire! Remember were human we all make mistakes!

Those are fair points, but the flip side of that is he's going to be more physically mature as he goes from being a sophomore to a junior and he'd have a much better supporting cast at Silsbee if he indeed left...you have to take that into account too..I've seen the kid in person and he's an elite talent...there's a reason he's got the offers he does for football, because he's got every tool in the belt

Excellent tune up for both teams. Could have went either way. BH had bases loaded in the 10th but couldn't push one across. It was that close. Katy is really, really good. They could pass for a college team with all their height. Great velocity from the circle and their bats are solid and strong. Great mutual respect from both fan bases. Each extended playoff well wishes to the other. Great game to see. Best one in the State tonight.
