I may open this back up a little later. But it seems that we are at a point in this thread where things are getting taken just a bit too personally.

So the lesson taught last night was integrity and morals account for very little in the times we live in now. Michael Jackson said it best "CHANGE" starts with the Man in the mirror. Curious if he can look at himself in the mirror this morning. A true champion dont tuck theirs tails and take a whipping to live another day to face a lesser challenge then chest bump each other and be proud. Good luck to the players and their quest to accomplish what was done last year. Lose to win another day what a message to send to young adults. jmo

The last one was 32 yard. The first one was 38 yards and the second one was around 35 I believe. The last 3 LU games I have been to a fan has been pulled from the stands for a prize giveaway and made a 30 yard FG. I think we might want to re-think kicking FGs or possibly re-think who kicks them.

Not that I love Babin or anything...but I'm really glad somebody is defending coaches on here. It doesn't happen enough.

I went to school with 3 of them and played for Babin, the only one not worth a crap is you for posting something like that. All of them are knowledgeable and passionate about the game and the kids. Lumberton is lacking in talent not coaching. So why don’t you tell the whole story and let everyone know that we lost both our options at qb tonight due to injury, both of those happen to be our better runners as well. False starts aren’t really helping us either. But yeah, “crappy coaching” is our problem. Whatever dude. Heres some numbers for you and you tell me how these piece of craps are doing: 5 years prior to Babin taking over: 9-41, no playoff appearances. Since Babin, 25-24 with three playoffs trips, plus one this year. One of those in 5A. This piece of crap coaching staff is getting more kids involved in football than in the past several years in Lumberton, and we are no longer a pushover like we have been in the past. But when people like you set your expectations so high in Lumberton that’s when a good coach who is improving the program gets run off, and then we end up be irrelevant until the next decent coach decides to take over. Which may be never again at this point.

I blame the refs for letting this game get out of control, I remember last year Liberty played dirty ball on our field. WOS boys are not going to get pushed and not back push back. Take the loss and stop whining.

I'm managing my anger better in my older years. You can't fix stupid and he also doesn't know what side of Houston he's on........ Silly I know but a pet peeve nonetheless..... Another thing he doesn't have a clue about, when Westside opened in '00 or '01, all of the decent foosball players left Lee. At the time, they were the only 5A school with no football team. I don't know why HISD brought the program back but they did and you can see how long it's taking for them to recover. Not to mention the demographics are not conducive for American football.....

Toss up like most years. Throw the records out, throw the like opponent comparisons out and just look into the magic 8 ball😃. PNG came into the game last night determined to throw the ball and that they did. Ned’s secondary will be tested like ours was. NED however will be able to pound the ball through the night mixed in with some timely passing. Last one that has the ball wins! Goodluck to both

I’m sure the coaching staff spent all last weekend and week away from their families coming up with a game plan to lose the game. WRONG. I spent the last 2 years as apart of this coaching staff and I can tell you that the guys on that staff are some of the best men and coaches your kids could be around. From what I’m seeing, the team had an off night and that happens. Seems like more people are mad that WB has the chance to be successful in the playoffs again. I’m not from Beaumont but WB is my school now and good luck to my boys and this coaching staff. Hope I get to a playoff game. BGOE

Congrats Barbers Hill! What I’ve noticed for the past two months of working in Mont Belvieu is its an awesome community who gives a ton of support to the schools, athletics, and any other extracurricular activity. Couple that with one of the better coaches in the state and over time this is what you get. Y’all are on the rise, keep it up!

Huffman is for real. Very well coached, disciplined team, hope to see them do well in playoffs....our coaching on the other hand was a total sh!t show last night....dont understand our playcalling at all smh...but oh well...gotta forget this one and move forward...on to lumberton

When WB is several rounds deep in D2 playoffs. WB fans will be glad they lost this game. WB can't survive in Division 1, everyone knows that. If they lost on purpose they played it safe to give themselves the best opportunity to make a deep run in the playoffs. Once again, 2 weeks from now this loss means nothing to WB fans.
