Lol. Its not like PNG has always had turf. Get over yourself. Come to think of it you couldn't even get the turf right the first time. Not to mention tiny visitor stands and no parking so they can brag they have the biggest fan base. 🙄

Ah yes, the memories. There was this one dude who always wrote better and straighter than the rest of the class. Reason being instead of recess he would stay in class and practice his writing. I hear a rumor out here at the plant that a hologram of Neumann would be projected throughout the game in hopes of Faircloth suffering PTSD and then running 6 yard come back routes over and over. To counter that PN-G will have a mashup Ted Ancelet / Scott Young banzai man projected to bring back the days of whipping Neds a...s with no mercy. Makes this game a toss up.

Rumor has it that Nederland is getting their shiny new field next year just to make PNG happy. Question... once Ned joins Barbers Hill, Crosby and Vidor as teams that have newer turf than the Indians, can we complain that we have to play on your field?

A school district has to count the students that are at alternative schools if they are going to come back to main campus. Otherwise, schools could send several students to the alt campus just to lower their numbers for realignment then have them back the next week. Early College is a separate campus and should not be counted but Pathway students should be counted because they are still considered students at main campus. Also, Early College is mostly all seniors or vast majority are seniors and you don't count senior class in any snap shot for realignment. The Livingston ordeal was they purposely did not count students that were at their alternative campus. You have to count those students. Thing is, Livingston had been counting them for years but then someone had the "bright" idea not to count them that time just so they would drop in classification. What I don't get is why schools would fudge on numbers for realignment? Why would they report less? A school should report whatever their number is because that's where they get their money from the state. More students, more money. If you are going to fudge, then report more, not less.

Are you at the games to see what is happening on the field? Our receivers may not be perfect but you can’t put all of the blame on them. Acting like the QB is perfect and the receivers are the only problem is just ridiculous.

PNG will be traveling to Kountze tonight to scrimmage the Lady Lions under the new leadership of Brady Byars.

According to Cardinal Backer everyone is coming to Orange County.. but other studies and Schools dropping enrollment says other wise..

Come on people, don't you remember first grade when we had the big fat pencils and wrote the big fat letters on the big-lined tablets. Think was second or maybe third grade before they let us do them in color though.

Man I just got my hands on a tournament bracket for the Lady Gander Tip-Off Classic next week in Baytown. All I can say is Coach Brown definitely scheduled up this year! Our first game in the tournament next Thursday is against Jersey Village who went 33-3 last year and TABC has them at #11 in 6A. DeSoto, TABC #2, Roy Report #1 in 6A, along with several other 5A and 6A powers is in this tournament. We will take some L's along the way in non-district play but when it counts in district and playoffs, we will be ready...

I agree on being tested well before then. I was just making a point of a team that made it to the state finals last year coming to play us on our home court this year. The schedule is a lot tougher than last years so by the time district play starts on December 17th, I agree, they should be fine tuned.

You are correct on more house -- not really the house but the land, and low taxes. what you get is a city that has no solid waste pick up, -contracted out, documented bad water, no sidewalks, crap for (lack of) city services, no ordinances (trailer next to a $$$$$ home) School districts with limited courses ie French Latin Autobody, etc... So yes its cheaper kind of like a Hyundai is cheaper then a Jaguar All about quality of life

I had the opportunity to be sitting beside Coach Foster at the regional tournament a couple of years ago watching a couple of 4A powerhouses warm up. I asked him how it would be to have that kinda talent jog on the floor the first day of practice. With out hesitation he said, it would all depend on what kinda attitude they brought with them. Told me all I needed to know. The small school guys don’t get enough credit, especially the ones who do it year after year.

There is no telling but I have noticed several such cases lately where there didn’t appear to be any bad intent. Of course you never know but many seem to like the exhilaration or adrenaline rush from being in control. Some have been people that couldn’t get hired as cops, washed out of the a academy (fortunately) or do it to video it to get their kicks.
