Friday night 11-22, Wild Bull Dogs attacked a herd of cows, and were stomped to death by large Brahma Bulls. On Friday 11-29, those same Bulls were herded into a pen by a bunch of Wild Mustangs, then on Friday 12-6, all were eaten and devoured by Large Maroon Tigers, as they sang the Aggie War hymn .

Coach Surratt and his staff at Carthage, are not only extremely good, he appears pretty classy. He really tries to keep the score down, from what I’ve seen.. Puts in them subs. Maybe that’s why their team has so many suiting up, most get some time on the field. As many pointed out, it’s a treat for the Raiders to play them. You don’t see teams like this that often. Go Raiders.

I have zero information on who calls plays now. I’m basing it off who did what on the sideline when Crosby had the ball earlier in the year and who did what when Crosby had the ball Friday. It was noticed later in the game so maybe Coach P still does call plays and this was just the case because we were blowing them out but we look like old Crosby Friday. That’s really all I care to say about it. I’ll just say I give our new head coach credit for taking us from looking like dumpster fire to just flat out being on fire.

That team wasn't as strong as some of the others. Surprised we even made it to the semis that year. We had either 7 or 9 starters out that game including Ingram. With that being said, they would have most likely one if we had everyone. That Lavega team was sick and VERY underrated. As for this game I think it'll be closer than most think. I look for a 21-7 score until late second qtr and Carthage lays it on. A friend pointed a few things out to me. That offense gives us fits if ran correctly, don't know how many players are attending the Volleyball game in Garland, the distance and the rain.

Teams that are accustomed to being in the playoffs and making runs at it do this. It is very possible to focus on the team coming up and still prepare for the possibility of a win. It's not cocky.. it's preparation.

Would love to see Lumberton pull off the upset!

What I understand from the players is that Newton likes to run out of a tight wing or a tight slot. They told me that Newton likes to flip the wing or slot at the line of scrimmage. When Newton does that both players will line up on the line of scrimmage and instead of staying in the wing or slot. When that happens it becomes a illegal formation to throw out of. Therefore the strong side Corner-back and Strong Safety doesn't have to cover anyone and can blitz. That is only one of number of ways they said they telegraphed the play. I hope yall get these issues worked out and see yall at state again. But it will be a tough road though East Bernard at has only allowed like 75 points all season.

I’ve seen them play several times and I do follow that team. The QB couldn’t run. Sorry I didn’t research every detail of every game this season before I commented. The stats really don’t matter.

Pretty easy to accomplish when you own the DOJ and FBI plus the Clinton strong arm team making sure no corruption charges (whistleblowers) ever make it to court alive.

That’s the way the boys need to be coming out Friday night. No point in laying over and giving up. Lumberton is not the only team in this area that would be a huge underdog to Carthage. I’m pretty sure most teams in SETX, besides a select few maybe, wouldn’t have much of a chance. I haven’t kept up with Carthage this year but I’m sure they are the same Championship caliber team that they have been for the last decade. We get to play them at home, second round of the playoffs. It’s gonna be an awesome experience for the guys, especially seniors, win or lose.

WB beat them by 40 last time. Can Jesuit make it closer this time? Certainly, but that's a lot of points to make up. And, the Bruins are actually playing better on offense now than they were when they beat Strake 61-21.

Here are some stats for those who don't like the coaching staff: Lidney Thompson's 1st year: 6-4 (didn't make the playoffs) Curtis Barbary's 1st year: 5-4-1 (didn't make the playoffs) WT Johnston's 1st year: 9-3 (Out in 2nd round) Probably should have gotten rid of all of those coaches after the first season. Who knows what kind of program Newton could have..... Maybe you supposedly "Newton fans" "Born and raised" should study the word support. You don't support until things aren't perfect then want their head. Pump your brakes, we're still playing.
