Friday night 11-22, Wild Bull Dogs attacked a herd of cows, and were stomped to death by large Brahma Bulls. On Friday 11-29, those same Bulls were herded into a pen by a bunch of Wild Mustangs, then on Friday 12-6, all were eaten and devoured by Large Maroon Tigers, as they sang the Aggie War hymn .2 points

I think they just try to cover every scenario as far as what teams will play and the venue a week ahead of time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think most teams do this??2 points

No little of Huntsville, but Crosby has turned it on. Not knowledgeable enough to make a prediction, just know I’m a Crosby fan when they hit the field. Go Cougars.2 points

Ok texbuzz, that’s a classic. 😂😂😂😂 I think, at the worst, Ltown stays within 50, but I hope it’s closer. Coach Surratt and his staff at Carthage, are not only extremely good, he appears pretty classy. He really tries to keep the score down, from what I’ve seen.. Puts in them subs. Maybe that’s why their team has so many suiting up, most get some time on the field. As many pointed out, it’s a treat for the Raiders to play them. You don’t see teams like this that often. Go Raiders.2 points -

Crosby vs Huntsville
Cougtalk and one other reacted to Cougar14.2 for a topic
I have zero information on who calls plays now. I’m basing it off who did what on the sideline when Crosby had the ball earlier in the year and who did what when Crosby had the ball Friday. It was noticed later in the game so maybe Coach P still does call plays and this was just the case because we were blowing them out but we look like old Crosby Friday. That’s really all I care to say about it. I’ll just say I give our new head coach credit for taking us from looking like dumpster fire to just flat out being on fire.2 points -
I watched Crosby go toe to toe with Manvel - this should be a great game - Go Coogs !2 points

Wow I missed that detail lol well Lumberton will have a big crowd of support for the game. But maybe not by halftime1 point -
HF had 4 Juniors, 5 sophomores, and 1 freshman last night. Only a couple have ever played a varsity game. New Coach with new offense/defense. Missing several varsity players that are still in football. My point to all this is they were young, inexperienced and excited and made good adjustments at halftime. Kountze has a couple of great players and pushed HF hard!!! Looking forward to many more wins from this HF group.1 point

Teams that are accustomed to being in the playoffs and making runs at it do this. It is very possible to focus on the team coming up and still prepare for the possibility of a win. It's not cocky.. it's preparation.1 point -

I didn’t attack you. It’s just an opinion. And sometimes those opinions are backed up with facts. Some aren't. I've been around and involved with people for a long time. Working for them, working them, listening to them, talking to them, etc. I'm unbiased with my opinions. My friends or not.1 point -

Newton vs Troup
jimmyw reacted to Northtexasfootball.com for a topic
What I understand from the players is that Newton likes to run out of a tight wing or a tight slot. They told me that Newton likes to flip the wing or slot at the line of scrimmage. When Newton does that both players will line up on the line of scrimmage and instead of staying in the wing or slot. When that happens it becomes a illegal formation to throw out of. Therefore the strong side Corner-back and Strong Safety doesn't have to cover anyone and can blitz. That is only one of number of ways they said they telegraphed the play. I hope yall get these issues worked out and see yall at state again. But it will be a tough road though East Bernard at has only allowed like 75 points all season.1 point -

I’ve seen them play several times and I do follow that team. The QB couldn’t run. Sorry I didn’t research every detail of every game this season before I commented. The stats really don’t matter.1 point
-
I find it funny that this site gives 14.2 so much crap for quoting stats to base his opinion. Then others like this give their opinion based on what they “thought” happened or what was “supposedly” going to happen. I commend you for correcting yourself, but now I wonder if you have ever seen Huntsville play ? If you haven’t, how can you say the QB was “clearly was not 100%” ?1 point
-
Lol maybe it will be cold and rainy and Carthage won’t know how to play in the elements.1 point
-
That’s the way the boys need to be coming out Friday night. No point in laying over and giving up. Lumberton is not the only team in this area that would be a huge underdog to Carthage. I’m pretty sure most teams in SETX, besides a select few maybe, wouldn’t have much of a chance. I haven’t kept up with Carthage this year but I’m sure they are the same Championship caliber team that they have been for the last decade. We get to play them at home, second round of the playoffs. It’s gonna be an awesome experience for the guys, especially seniors, win or lose.1 point

West Brook vs Strake Jesuit 2.
Panthers87 reacted to Yeoj for a topic
WB beat them by 40 last time. Can Jesuit make it closer this time? Certainly, but that's a lot of points to make up. And, the Bruins are actually playing better on offense now than they were when they beat Strake 61-21.1 point -
