  2. Great post. I think this is why OneChance started this thread. To get some good old debate going and to give some recognition to all the hard working young ladies in the SETX area. Legacy has indeed played a very hard pre-district schedule. Good luck to them as they move into district play.

  3. What's your vote...my personal favorite was Nederland vs Pearland Dawson 2012 Regional at NRG which Nederland won in overtime 22-19

Have always loved that song, and, as happens to us old folks, it popped into my head. Got on YouTube and listened to it. Then saw a video of two guys critiquing it. Found it very interesting. Here’s the song, and critique for anyone that likes it.

  12. That was personal favorite... didn’t think it would make anybody’s list. Silsbee was stacked that year and it was back and forth all way. Last team with the ball should have won. Silsbee missed what should have been the game-winning fg as time expired. DC was on the line, AND I can’t stand Silsbee. I’m not saying that it was the best game ever, but I can’t think of one I’ve personally enjoyed more. We had another good one at WOS around 2012. We turned the ball over on downs on what should have been the go ahead possession in the red zone as the game was winding down. Closest I’ve ever seen us come to beating WOS (except the Dan Ray rainout game).

  14. I realize it just little ole legacy but we are the smallest possible school in the area and we have gone 2/2 with your top 10. Beating Tarkington and LCM. We’ve also played Jasper, Westbrook, The Village(who beat HJ) and Houston St. Agnes(ranked 9th in 6A). We’ve also played #8 in TAPPS Lutheran North (ranked 8th in 4A). Our schedule has been one of the toughest in the area as well. Don’t count us out. Go Warriors! Oh btw we are currently ranked #5 in the state and we have not started district. We have 6 freshman and 2 juniors.

    Here You Go Dimwits

Who owns a bazooka? Who hunts deer with an AK? Good to hear you are armed. My joke was meant to be just that......a joke. Leave it to a dim to decipher a joke. Didn’t think it took a war for dims to want to pee anywhere.....try Target.

  22. I’ve said all along that IMO Bush is the best player in our area. Should be an interesting district match up. Silsbee seems to continue to lose players off this years squad which makes it tougher on Bush.

  24. Not when it comes to the skills required to be a good basketball player.. compared to skills required to be a good football player. No offense.. but just being fast, just being big, or just being strong means nothing on a basketball court. Any of the three can make you a stud on a football field, though. That’s what I meant.

  28. ...And yet all these women became trans quite suddenly after puberty, found affirmation immediately, and got testosterone easily. One says she told her mom one evening that she was having a sleepover with friends, but instead drove hundreds of miles to a Planned Parenthood through the night in search for help with transitioning. Within a couple of hours, after telling her life story, she says she was diagnosed as trans by a social worker, who was impressed by her tenacity in driving so far, and was started on testosterone therapy before even getting any results from blood work. Another got diagnosed online, and got testosterone in the mail...... I threatened my parents and friends with suicide. It became part of my identity to be suicidal. I screamed at my parents about this, even though I knew I wasn't going to kill myself." One went by the pronouns xe and xer and flew into a rage if she was misgendered. Once they had transitioned, and felt miserable nonetheless, they felt that this too was just part of being transgender. One talked of "the hunger to suffer." Another spoke of "using your pain to validate your own destruction." Read more at [Hidden Content]
