The problem in this situation is that the organization gets punished but the players do not. The GM and coach both got fired but the players who cheated do not. I've read a lot of comments from other MLB players saying they lost respect for the houston players. The astros have become the "bad guys" in MLB.

Coach it has been great following you guys over the past three years, we definitely had some close, fun and exciting games (except this year, lol). I hate this for you and your girls, I wish the Seniors that are wanting to continue on playing basketball in college all the luck in the world finding their dream school and hope they have amazing college careers. Yes, they have different players that can score the basketball, but at their core they are at their best when they play tough aggressive team defense. They play hard for each other, and have gotten better with that as the season has progressed. Coach Sanders, Worry, and Boyles has gotten them playoff ready by playing a tough pre-district schedule. With a probable second round match up with Yates on the horizon, they better be ready, lol.

You own it, but anyone doing hiring or with any sense of the landscape of HS football on a statewide level knows some jobs are simply impossible to succeed at....Graham has clearly demonstrated he's capable of leading good teams...as much as we like to put importance on coaches, in the end you've got to have the personnel to compete...he'll have the personnel at United at the 5A level

No SuperBowl, just a beat down of a overrated team. We’re 2 - 2 against Crosby. One lost went to triple OT and I believe the other was a lost by 10 points I believe. So I wouldn’t really call it a SuperBowl. And yes it will nice to play teams that are closer in numbers to our school. Remember when y’all got beat down regularly when y’all were in a bigger district.😂

The conversation in question.. (the one I was in), was comparing Coach Briles to his predecessor implying that because Briles had won state titles previously that he was automatically a better coach. But actually, no. My opinion on what makes a good coach is someone that gets the most out of their players or more. I think that wins/losses is a fraction of what makes someone good. I personally think some of the best coaches to have ever lived have never won a championship. It's easy to win with better players than the team you're playing against.
