  1. Wow, someone outside of the area that sees the same thing the local people do. Who would have thought that?

  6. Similar situations are holding up the local 2A bi-district games. The only seed out of 22-2A that is determined is Shelbyville at #1 but they are waiting on Alto vs. Cushing playin game. And the #3 and #4 seeds in both 23-2A and 24-2A are TBD

  12. [Hidden Content] From the article: The justice system should be in the business of ensuring sentences are commensurate with the offense. I am sure that the progressives cheering Stone’s recommended sentence (you know, the same ones who advocate for criminal justice reform) would be appalled at a similar recommendation for other non-violent crimes, like drug possession or shoplifting. Meanwhile, the average rapist in America serves just four years in prison. Anthony Weiner, a Democrat, was notably sentenced to just 21 months for sending photos of his penis to a minor. Isn’t that worse? Perhaps most concerning is that new details suggest Stone was not even granted a fair trial. The lead juror in his case, Tomeka Hart, was a Democratic candidate for Congress in 2012, routinely followed the Russian collusion investigation via social media, and had posted numerous negative stories about Trump, including calling him the ‘#KlanPresident’. In January 2019, Hart retweeted a CNN analyst admonishing people who took issue with the FBI raid on Stone’s home after his indictment. Are we really supposed to believe, as Hart claimed in court, that she did not ‘pay that close attention’ to the Russia probe and that her views of Trump wouldn’t affect her opinion of Stone? Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee responsible for putting Paul Manafort in solitary confinement, has denied Stone a new trial based on allegations that Hart was a biased juror. Jackson also implemented a rather unusual full gag order on Stone during the trial, preventing him from speaking about any aspects of the case. The facts all seem to add up to Stone being railroaded over his political inclinations.

  13. Hopefully the Rebels come in playing the way they have been with several people scoring. Have heard Hull is going to be playing a Box1 tonight (Insider Information).... LOL Hope they don't but if they do we know what to do to break it; easiest way is a couple of people to step up on the scoring.

  14. That sounds like what @UT alum is saying. The law is more important to him than morals. Tell me if I'm wrong but that's how you come off on here @UT alum.

    Old UIL Realignments

Just a suggestion, but I think a good place for this list of old realignments would be under the SETexas football histories thread, so they don't get lost in the shuffle. A lot of good history here.

  19. On a liberal friends FB page, with about 50 liberals posting, I’ve ask this question twice. Only answer, Crickets. Imo, they don’t care. If freaking Karl Marx’s (or Satan) could beat Trump, they’d vote on him.

  20. Clear Springs is loaded! They have a team FULL of shooters and are also led by a 6'0 junior do it all forward Niah Johnson. If Springs is shooting well they are very hard to beat.

  21. If a school is not on Winter Break or if they did not play their district game this past Monday (holiday), they cannot play a game before 4pm today. Has to be after school hours.

  28. Well my dad is black. My mom is black. My wife is black and even my kids are black. This is why I said "we" can't cry racism every time someone doesn't agree with our opinion. Try to keep up. The two kids that came over can really play and seem to be good kids. They somehow got cleared for eligibility, but everyone knows they were recruited to come over and should not be eligible. They got cleared and I need to let it go, but it is difficult when you guys keep promoting your friend/yourself as a coaching guru when all his/your success is on the shoulders of illegal transfers. At the expense of the "local" Hamshire Fannett kids. When coach learns more offense than the spread stall or iso with the point guard maybe I'll be impressed. This will be the last I post on this topic and I should have stopped long ago. My advice to Coach Rideau is to follow the rules before it catches up to you. My advice to you would be to be a lot more cautious with that accusation, as it is both divisive and dangerous.

  32. Im pretty sure u don’t know “this guy” saying he will do anything to win. U are the prototypical talking head. Yes race is involved Davis is white Rideaux is black Yet no one speaks on how kids come to HJ and play. U do know it’s a parents decision to bring a kid over. But y’all will praise Davis for winning and say Rideaux wins because of recruits it’s sad

  33. We can't cry race every time someone has an opinion we don't like...and #5 at HJ is a black kid. Doesn't matter. The old "they do it too" defense isn't worth much either. He brought four kids over with him. Two are players, one is on JV (why?), and I think another is hurt. What happens next year when the Ardoin kid from PA shows up? And a couple more from Bmt? HF gonna field a whole team of transfers and completely abandon all our local kids? This guy will do whatever he can to get an advantage and the first chance that guy gets he'll jump ship and leave HF right back where it was. And then who is going to bring the Beaumont kids to school?

  34. what kills me about people like you who just talk about what you dont know. Why hasnt there been not one mention of HJ and its "recruits" over the years including this year? The best player on the team "#5" went to a charter school in beaumont last year and all of a sudden hes starting at HJ and will be first team all district. But no one talks about this?? i wonder why? could it be race? Also Hf's "transfer's' actually live in their school district. some of you people are just sad.

  38. Priceless quote from Coach Wilson after the game, "The boys in Orange are raised to play defense and we are going to show them that the girls in Orange are raised to play defense, too." Cornel Thompson is smiling right now at the prospect of a Lady Chain Gang!
