  3. Entitlements. I will vote for you if you will push for policies that will force others to pay for my needs rather than me having to pay for them.

  5. Since it can’t be disputed I’d like to congratulate my Chester Yellowjackets for the Class1-A state championship. I know it will have an asterisk beside it, but I wanted to be the first to offer my applause for a job well done. I know Evadale was up there too, but I wasn’t able to stay for the 2-A championship game. If one of the Rebel faithful will let us know how it turned out I’d appreciate it.

    NCAA extra year

Really happy about this decision to grant spring sports an extra year of eligibility. Hate it for the basketball and other sports.

  8. Because they are horrible human beings that’s why. i know I say this a lot but anybody who believes in killing babies are horrible human beings with a misguided and confused conscience. ”putting illegal immigrant children in cages is in inhumane” but yet you kill them.

    10-4A-1 Who wins it.

I say most of this jokingly but I do think we will have a good team. QB who left last season after showing promise on Varsity as a Sophomore, he's back for his Senior season. O-line should be stacked with some big boys, need to fill in at RB but we always have kids to run the ball. D-line will cause trouble with the man child in the middle, secondary has some experienced athletes. New kids will have to step up to fill some linebacker spots and the kicking game... hell who knows? You should see an experienced, well disciplined Pirate squad that is led by a good Senior class.

  20. I got two weeks off work as of the end of Friday a week ago. This past Monday I went to a COVID 19 screening location here in Houston. I stayed in my car, in line for 10.5 hours, from like 7:15am until 6:05pm. Long story short I received a call this past Thursday at 6pm. saying that I tested positive. So I am quarantined for sure. I can go out in the yard. Mostly I stay inside. I am not complaining. I read all the stores of other people and what they are going through. It could be worse. The stream of the worship service for my church comes on in 1 1/2 hours or so. Looking forward to that. Happy Sabbath.
