Nah.... I think their window slammed shut in early February when Carthage got bumped down. I expect WOS or Silsbee (whichever is still standing at that point) to go down on Carthage in the regionals (4th round). Either Silsbee or WOS will be done no later than the 3rd round, and neither will be standing after the fourth. That's not saying they're bad teams or regressing... they're just gonna walk into a saw. That's my prediction for 4AD2 Region 3 in 2020. Vidor should make decent run, IMO.... I'm not familiar with their personnel at all, but I think of the success that we had in 4AD1 with decent personnel and good coaching in 2016. They're gonna be one of the largest schools in the classification and anything less than District Champs playing on Thanksgiving Weekend would be a bitter disappointment for me if I were a Pirate fan. Which I'm not.

I guess that went over my head. I’m just full of information....some of it useless. Some say I am full of other things but such is life.

No, but some people still get the flu, even after getting the flu shot. They also have to “guess” as to which flu will be most prevalent, then vaccinate accordingly. Not 100% effective, but it does save lives, especially in the elderly.

I read "Roughnecks" about 20 years. Fiction. Aimed more at high school kids than adults. I remember it as a good read. The whole story is a first-person view of a high school football star's thoughts in the last few days leading up to the state championship in Louisiana. [Hidden Content]

I read "Bleachers" years ago. It starts out as a good read, but it follows the plot of "Varsity Blues" so much its an entirely unoriginal book. I enjoyed the writing though -- Like all John Grisham books, the story is presented very well. But if you haven't seen "Varsity Blues," it's a relatively short book with a pretty good football story.

This is very true. A complete game changing talent, that has been corrupted by the hype. He needs to get away from all the idiots and entourage whispering poison into his ear and get help from people that want the best for him. He's still a kid and I hope he starts heading down the right track to help him get back on path for his future. I hope the best for him.
