  1. Happy fathers day to all the dedicated dads out there. I learned many lessons from my dad. First and foremost, treat others how you would like to be treated. This would go a long way towards bringing people together today.

  3. Time to start tearing down mlk and obama statues? Rename every street in America named mlk? What is good for the goose is good for the gander!!!

  4. I’m guessing here. Three generations of unspanked kids and liberal mindsets in the classroom have produced what we are seeing today. If left unsupervised, which way do people tend to lean? Everything to a child is “yes”, you have to teach them “no”. Like you said, they have not been taught respect for their elders ( I might receive a slight slap across the mouth for not saying yes sir and yes ma’am when I was younger) or anything else for that matter. When one has no respect, one has no conscience. Without conscience and knowing there is a price to pay for your transgressions, you end up with total chaos and mayhem.

  8. This is a sports sociology topic. Yes, it is. Thus, it is political. Like it or not, when the leading sports sociology text in America promotes Marxism on its 3rd page, all sport topics can turn political. Shut up and go elsewhere is a wonderful tool of the left. That is exactly what is being done here in asking(or telling) me or others to take it to the political forum. If politics and sports don't intersect now, someone please tell ESPN.

  9. No one is saying its fake news. However, I am saying .003% is not enough to stop the world over. There are a lot of things that kill at a higher rate than Covid. Are we going to stop driving cars? Don't you think it's weird NO ONE caught the flu this year, or at least you didn't hear anything about it? We should all be asking questions. Those who do not are the "ignorant" ones.

  11. Well, that is a bit of news to me. Then he must some have some person who answered his email accounts for him as he has typed out the answers to the annual preview questionnaires that I sent him. And, to me anyway, he has been very complimentary and thanked us for what we do for local high school sports........including just a couple of weeks before he was dismissed. There may be issues in Hardin ISD, but this site it not the root of them.

  12. Nope, just crazy they run Coach Pavliska out and now Haynes. Those are 2 great coaches that Hardin has now ran off.

  13. I don't know, but I like that decision if true. Randy and Regina have been the heartbeat of that school for years. EXTREMELY successful in the sports they coach and the girls program is successful. The road they have been taking seems to lead to a new AD every few years, and that is not going to work. Why not try something new? The only reason AD is attached to HFC is for money. Someone can be a great HFC, but that doesn't mean they will be a great AD. Someone could also be a subpar HFC but great AD. It's not easy to find someone that's good at both. School systems are stuck marrying those two things and it doesn't always work. It's pretty difficult when new leadership, new vision, and new beliefs come in every 2-3 years. You have to have consistency.
