Last time Vidor played Jasper in 2015, Vidor beat Jasper 41 to 24 I believe an we were horrible that year. Of course that was 2015, all new kids now. My understanding is Vidor has some running backs that are gonna surprise some people to go along with a legit QB this year. Should be fun to watch.

Chances are that the factor behind La Vega holding off until today was the McLennan County order that closed schools to in person learning until 9/8 and not allowing sports during that time. After the AG opinion yesterday, McLennan County rescinded their order, which cleared the way for La Vega to make their game.

As to Goose Creek, they voted last night to delay the start of class until September 8th and go virtual only for the first 3 weeks. However, they did also decide that students could participate in extracurricular activities during the time of virtual learning.
