Just this year, in two Democratic Caucuses, while saying the Pledge of Allegiance, the words “under God” were omitted. The vast majority of Christian Denominations are against abortion, but to the Democratic Party, it’s okay to murder the innocent unborn. During the recent Democratic “Peaceful Protest” (that’s a misnomer if there ever was one) many Christian Churches have been burned and vandalized. Christian Statues have been toppled and/or painted with graffiti. Since the Democratic Party is Godless, and anyone that doesn’t agree with them is called racist, then being a Christian is racist. Do you know that? I post on a predominately liberal FB site, and have been called many names, but most often, it’s racist. Name calling is all that’s left when one has lost a discussion. Btw, on that site, I’ve seen many derogatory post against Christians. And your retort, That’s just a few extremist. Top four offensive skill guys(QB, RB, 2WRs) came back for Crosby and it looks like it. We also have a couple of additions. Crosby hasn't looked this good at the skill positions as a collective since 2015. I would expect them to be one of the best 5A offenses in the state if they can stay healthy. We will see what the defense looks like when we scrimmage Tomball this week.

Bay City Intercontinental is closed due to the inability to get cows off the runway. There is a possibility of landing in Joe Bob's hay field over Van Vleck way since he hasn't planted rice in several years now. The landing might be a bit bumpy.

Yes sir I think it had a little to do with it I was told there were a few kids that are decent ball players (1 that has started V since a freshman)that were able to keep their summer jobs not having to go back to school so that’s what they decided, other than that idk boys athletics are dwendling down year by year. I played for EC in the 75 and 76 game. Never forget the game in 75. Twisted my ankle bad then I ran the wrong route on a pass and Ricky Luquette intercepted it and ran it back about 70 yds for a TD for Lumberton. I got so tired of hearing the band play The Raiders Go Rolling Along!!

While I always root for my Raiders, it'll really depend on who we throw passes too. Need to completely shut down the turnovers and then do another good job on the penalties like we did in Silsbee,. As for me, if the game takes as much out of me as the first two games then this will probably be my last game to physically go to until my doctor fixes my heart. The Highschool coaches are not coaching so it's more like AAU only using the Highschool teams so UIL isn't involved in anyway.

In my own humble opinion... I feel that everyone here should pull for our local Silsbee Tigers. Hats off to your program for just wanting to play! It's always too easy to look around and find all the problems out there...but think about those Senior Tigers, getting another game to suit up and get after it. I absolutely love it! No matter the outcome, I'm super proud.

Gilder likely back next week. Arline week after. Silsbee has 4 starters out. Arline, Gilder, Hatton and Buse. Three of those (Arline, Gilder and Hatton) are two way starters. Buse should be back next week but Hatton likely not back till playoffs.
