With all of the back and forth between the East side and PA, the looser isn't bad off. Both team should win out if they want a home playoff game so I hope there's peace between the two camps going forward.....

The only way he wins is if he get Nevada somehow, or there is some type of voter fraud in Arizona, Michigan, or Wisconsin that gets taken to the Supreme Court and they fix it somehow. I'm amazed at what people are voting for.

Checking in. More reading and less posting from me nowadays. Thanks to COVID-19, I've only seen WO-S in person at the the Vidor scrimmage, but thanks to texanlive and hudl I'm following closely. Last week's game against Liberty was sluggish, but much of that has to do with Liberty's style. It was the first time I didn't see improvement from the previous week's game (the bye week came at the right time). The INTs were discouraging, but overall Pop Terrell has increased his passing accuracy and decision making. Still a few too many dropped passes, but we have multiple receiving targets who have all looked good at times throughout the season. Two solid TBs gives us something even the 2016 team did not have. At offensive line, they've had to grow up fast (four new starters). So far, so good, but still room to grow. The defense has pounded every offense we've seen. #44 plays like a Tazmanian Devil - very tough to block. Our core of LBs are smooth. It's the strongest position on the D. Brown and Berry's experience is showing every Friday. Even so, it seems every game the defense has let their guard down for one big play by the opposing offense which has lead to points scored. They should have multiple shut-outs. That can't happen in the playoffs. One big play against a Jasper, Carthage, or any other good opponent could be the difference in the final score. With all of that said, I'm encouraged with everything I've seen and even the areas where we need upgrading are within our grasp to fix. They've played only six games and have shown me plenty to get excited about. And...oh, yeah...it helps to have an excellent kicker. This is the best WO-S team since 2016. Let's see how they finish.

Have you not seen wh’s numbers all year? They don’t technically have 11 fit players They’ve suited up with just 11-12 players multiple weeks and a few weeks had a whopping 15 kids playing state ranked teams at times with only 10 players on the field, half the team playing hurt every game and some of them are freshman kids that’s never played the game before. They are a Jv team with 2 seniors on it, YES There are only two seniors on the team both are rb/mlbs that take a beating every week and their main back that toats the ball 90% of the time been playing the whole year with a serious knee injury and he can barely practice or make it through a whole game. On top of all that shelbyville done stated the week prior if they beat SA they didn’t feel the need to even play the game So I would think people would know that WH and the coaches didn’t just quit

This may be one of the dumbest comments ever. If they have 11 play the game, yeah right. Who in their right mind would try to play a varsity football game with just 11 kids. Plus if they cancelled an Area Round volleyball game because of covid, then it must be serious. I know those kids in HI, would strap it up no matter what, in the face of all odds, but there are things that are beyond their control.

Perhaps he is. If so, they need to let him run the athletic program. I'm not saying that basketball can't have importance at a smaller school, but if the school has football.. then the program should be weighted toward football.

The correct response if to feel bad for the seniors. There's a chance that of those seniors, there may have been at least one that cared enough to not want to end the career this way. Hopefully they all did. However, as mentioned above, when the Athletic Director is as basketball heavy as the one they have... it's not surprising to see the football program go by the wayside. I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner in the year. It's hard enough to take losses but to do it with minimal players makes it all the more difficult. Hate to see it. West Hardin... get a football coach back in there.

everyone was kinda expecting this after Shelbyville beat San Augustine, this ends up being a game that is pointless for either team , so for WH it would have been another long drive to another slaughter house with a group of youngins that’s all been through the ringer all year , you only got two seniors on the team both are your rbs/mlbs So their basically both beat to a pulp and One of them been playing most the year with a serious knee injury. And as far as Shelbyville it’s a win either way but if they played they’d take a chance of getting someone hurt going into the playoffs. So with all that In consideration WH takes a knee With that being said hats off to All the WH players that’s gutted it out every game knowing what they were walking into and and having good sportsmanship and good attitudes week in and week out! At this point I couldn’t tell ya😩 I would like to think BH has dropped their turd this year, wiped and ready to move forward😂. This is a very important game for both teams, if PNG wins they are pretty much garunteed a 1 or 2 seed going into the playoffs. If BH wins their hope is still alive to try for the 2 seed ,but have to get by Nederland . Good news for BH is that we have PNG and NED at home his year, so the home crowd will be behind you. Should be a good game, but If PNG comes to town with what Crosby threw at us on defense then were in trouble.
