Would expect to see some progress when we play West Brook. Not saying we're gonna win, but I would think a somewhat decent game isn't out of the question. Realistically we're probably looking at 0 - 6 before we play Woodville. That's okay though. Lure some of these teams into a false sense of security for when we start to roll. More than half the Silsbee team should be in the 6`2 range. Think Grisham and one other kid might be 6`3.

They just looked like they weren't ready to play, mentally. Im sure that had a lot to do with the "make shift" line. Not having the usual horses up front can have a mental effect. Sad thing is that this was our best shot at a title for a while. Yeah, we have some players coming back but they'll have to assume different roles. Zeigler will go to QB and he'll do a good job, but this means he'll no longer be the utility guy he's been out of the back field. His ability to run and catch in the slot and out of the back field will be missed. On defense we'll lose 3 of 4 defensive backs and both our stud LB's. This was "the year". Its a dang shame it had to also be the year of covid. It always seems like, if something like this is going to happen, it's going to happen to us.

BC played back to back as well. Only play 8 with one of their starters still out. Any other excuse to make that HF win over Memorial look any better?

And #99 is a great rotation player on the Dline especially against the run.......

I watched the Tigers practicing on Monday. It appeared that with the exception of Miller nearly everyone was present. Someone even said that Miller was there but I did not see him. I would guess that they will be better than they were last year at four of the five positions. You would assume that the returning starters will improve with age. They definitely will have a stronger supporting cast. I could see them having eight to ten solid players. They should be taller than they were last year. They have a number of players (five or six) in the 6' to 6'2" range and they also have Jones at about 6'5".

So you does that mean they will beat BH. PAM has a good coach. He will get them going.

Livingston finished 4th in a district that has gotten considerably better due to UIL realignment. Looks like they have a lot of the same players returning. I don’t see them finishing any better than 4th and this will be a struggle.
