It is a good suggestion that I do implement to some extent. Here is what I do, at the beginning of the season, I will post a wider array of individual threads to gauge who is responding (I do that with all of the sports, not just girls' basketball). When the non-district games play out and district starts, you see me divide into individual threads for schools which I know I will get a response (e.g. HJ, BU, Evadale, OF) and district threads for those which I am at least not so sure.

A bean burrito & a couple of boiled eggs will fix that smell problem! 😎

Crosby takes out 11-0 #5 ranked Texas High and backdoors it with a classic over 11-0 and #4 ranked Huntsville. Now we’re rewarded with 12-0 #3 ranked Fort Bend Marshall. Crosby is probably playing with house money at this point. Hopefully Dunn is healthy enough for us to have a real go at it next week.

Got this from a guy that knew a guy that knew this other guy. lol T'was 2 sleeps before Christmas, and all through the town, people wore masks, that covered their frown. The frown had begun way back in the spring when a global pandemic changed everything. They called it corona, but unlike the beer, It didn’t bring good times, it didn’t bring cheer. Airplanes were grounded, travel was banned. Borders were closed across air, sea, and land. As the world entered lockdown to flatten the curve, the economy halted, and folks lost their nerve. From March to July we rode the first wave, people stayed home, they tried to behave. When summer emerged the lockdown was lifted, but away from caution, many folks drifted. Now it’s December and cases are spiking, wave two has arrived, much to our disliking. It’s true that this year has had sadness a-plenty, we’ll never forget the year 2020. And just ‘round the corner - The holiday season, but why be merry? Is there even one reason? To decorate the house and put up the tree, who will see it, no one but me. But outside my window, the snow gently falls, and I think to myself, let’s deck the halls! So, I gather the ribbon, The garland, and bows, as I play those old carols, my happiness grows. Christmas is not canceled and neither is hope. If we lean on each other, I know we can cope... Merry Christmas family and friends!!!

The verdict is in. Fastest tenderloin ever. Good flavor great taste. But I think I may have over done it. Mine was about 2.5 lbs. After 10 minutes, checked it with a meat thermometer and only got to 140. 5 more minutes, but it was probably tougher than it should've been. Thanks @SmashMouth Definitely worth trying again. I'm sure with a lil practice I'll get it right. Also, it would be great for pork a Bob's. And someone at the SETX state fair could make some money.

I will say in a political correctness note, i’ve seen several statements about the this, including the mayor. I have read very many news reports. I have never seen the word terrorism used. The only thing I have seen was that this was called an “intentional act”. kind of disturbing in another manner, the mayor of Nashville laughed while doing a couple of interviews about the bomb going off. He made what seemed to me to be jokes about it.

I tested positive back in March. I am A+ btw. I felt a slight fever. I could feel stuff moving around near my lungs. It ached some around my heart. Basically though I had no symptoms. I am grateful to still be here just the same.

Get Well Bud! I am sure you’ve been given good medical advice but this is what I’ve been taking an has worked so far. Vitamin D3 2000mg, Zinc 30mg, Vitamin C 1000mg, Magnesium 400mg. I take it daily an keep on moving forward.

Similar except haven’t lost my sense of taste and smell and an intermittent low grade fever. Here’s to almost being over it (hopefully ).

Yes. Todays offenses score so quickly that a good defense versus a good offense can look deceiving. A 49-28 winner is a defense that was on the field a lot and made enough stops and slowed the quicker offense down. Thats a good defense. LSU last year was a prime example. Tiger fans were going nuts early on about the points given up, but had never been used to such a quick scoring offense. Boom National Champs

And while I see everyone pointing fingers at the other side, this turd is a tribute to congress in general. Moscow Mitch and Grismelda Pelosi both trotted this piece of crap out there and asked us to eat it.

Is it 2021 yet?

As a Crosby fan I’m feeling pretty good about our chances. Can’t have the turnovers and penalties we did against TH but we need to find a way to bring all of whatever else that was in Nacodoches to The Woodlands. I don’t think Huntsville has the same offensive firepower as TH. They’re only averaging about 31ppg offensively through the first couple of rounds which is right in line with their regular season average of about 35ppg. Looking at their schedule, Crosby should have the best defense Huntsville has seen this year. The Hornets will have the best defense Crosby has seen this year except for maybe Manvel, who blew us out. The difference in Manvel and Huntsville’s defenses is that Manvel doesn’t have anybody like Ed Bobino to destroy the interior of your offensive line. There’s even a bright spot there for Crosby as some of the same kids got to line up against him last year as well as the staff game-planning for him. Kind of feels like the first one to 30 may win this one.

I spent four years trying to track down scores. I enjoyed my four years, but getting scores, whew! 😂 I wish this COVID crap would end so I could watch my kid play again. They are supposed to start play in January with no fans present and only 15 girls are allowed to travel.
