Couldn't agree more. Great season for Nederland. At this point of playoffs it is about match ups and Nederland didn't match up well. Looking forward to next week if Nederland were to get by FBM I was hoping to get Crosby because I think Huntsville is a match up nightmare for Nederland. Turns out FBM was too. However Crosby matches up much better against FBM and I'm backing Crosby to win and pulling for them to win the whole thing.

Hopefully we learned to not pooch kick when your kicker can get it in the end zone EVERYTIME.

I think this group over achieved!!! They did a great job!! We have a bright future!!! The next few years are going to be some exciting years for Bulldog football!!!

Shout out to the Cougar coaching staff and Coach Jerry Prieto. In only his/their second year and 26th overall game as a head coach he has Crosby back in the regional finals. Feels like we do it a different way in Crosby now. Looking forward to an exciting finish to the season and even more excited to see what he does with the talent he has coming down the pipe. Seems like Crosby has pretty much hit on all four hires since ‘03.

The game went to the wire as expected. Both teams made mistakes. Huntsville had 3 costly fumbles. The fumble at the Crosby 20 late in the game was huge and probably cost Huntsville the go ahead score. it was probably fitting that the game was tied after regulation. The battle of the kickers went Crosby’s way. This was the game I was worried about for Huntsville. I am sure Huntsville would have beaten FB Marshall next week , so good luck to the Cougars in that game. FB Marshall has a lot of speed but Crosby can win that game. Congrats to Crosby on today’s win.

Folks drive me crazy with the team comparisons to teams who haven't played. FBM is hard to gauge because we know they haven't played anyone all year its not debatable. They really should schedule a NS, Katy, or Ridge point early in the year. What we do know is they have a ton of speed on the field. As for Huntsville they lost because they should've lost. TEAMS win football games that includes staff and players. Don't come trying to tarnish our victory. Crosby made their mistakes as well. If you take away Huntsvilles timeout snafu take away Crosby's pooch kick. We still win. Crosby was the better team. Re-run it with everyone healthy and we probably beat em worse. Knocked off the #5 then knocked off #4 number 3 is on deck.

LOL... Check the Manvel vs FBM series record tho? Just sayin'. You can base the series on the last couple years if you like as it'll help your argument. FBM had some special kids the past few years and it has shown but you are hallucinating. SC along with Klien Collins played NS well early in the year ... line them up now and NS will destroy both. The physicality of Katy would cripple Marshall the first couple drives as one can not simulate that in practice. I like FBM but lets be real... They a monster is 5A Div 2 but lets not go crazy.

Crosby needs to be methodical on offense. Win the time of possession big time like PNG did, but finish drives. Had PNG finished each long drive FBM would be at home. I think CC wins this as long as they don’t try to get into a shootout. Taking down Tx High was, eh. I didn’t think that district was all that great. But beating Huntsville was impressive. Yeah, and Nederland lost to PNG who Crosby beat by 40. Ned had their best night and Crosby has their worst, look at the last 11 games on their schedules. Two completely different matchup styles for FBM. Started to get a little incoherent at the North Shore part though.

3rd place district 12 5A PNG almost beat FBM - they're good but hardly unstopable and not as fast as Crosby - If #2 for Crosby (Dunn) plays I have Crosby by 3tds.

A VERY impressive run by this Cougar team!! That loss to Nederland was probably the best thing that could have happened to this bunch!!!!

Been saying all week Crosby is the better TEAM. Both teams made their mistakes Crosby was able to overcome theirs. Think the wind had a lot to do with the missed targets. Hopefully Dunn is able to come back next week. Ankles can be a bear to overcome. The play before that should’ve been TD tho 😒

Anybody who cares to see this game while you're stuffing yourselves with Christmas leftovers can see it here. Skip to the 17 minute mark for player introductions. Lot of sloppy play in the 4th, but it was garbage time. Noticed Williams and Gilder hardly played at all, if they played at all.

Crosby takes out 11-0 #5 ranked Texas High and backdoors it with a classic over 11-0 and #4 ranked Huntsville. Now we’re rewarded with 12-0 #3 ranked Fort Bend Marshall. Crosby is probably playing with house money at this point. Hopefully Dunn is healthy enough for us to have a real go at it next week.

Crosby may be the first average team to play for the region since the last time they did it.

Ate too much yesterday I guess. Not the same team I’ve been watching. Never set up the running game. It’s hard too be a team that’s been deep into the playoffs consistently. Good season though.

I’m taking this opportunity to wish EVERYONE a very Merry Christmas and hopefully a better New Year. I mean everyone. No matter your lifestyle or ideology or race, we are all God’s children. This day represents the day our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born so that He may one day be sacrificed on the cross to give us eternal life. It is my wish that we can all act better towards one another this next year and years to come, and that we cherish life and the gifts we have been given. As for me and my family, we will watch our senior son & some of our grandkids open presents and then make one mean pot of gumbo and some potato salad and french bread. What’s everyone else got going?

I tested positive back in March. I am A+ btw. I felt a slight fever. I could feel stuff moving around near my lungs. It ached some around my heart. Basically though I had no symptoms. I am grateful to still be here just the same.

United with the 5A # 2 Ranking/Target on their back will get the best effort from 2 particular state ranked district opponents, predicting a margin of victory is hilarious. Particularly playing on the road. Stay humble keep working.
