The Hawk Hecklers (their name, not mine) have long been known for their enthusiastic brand of cheering at basketball games. I look at complaints about their "antics" the same way I look at complaints about teams running up the score. If you don't want them to run it up, stop them. If you don't like their antics when they are winning, beat them.

Ok, I give. The band director will be placed as acting AD and Head Football coach until further notice. They may not win many games, but their new formations will be the talk of the district!

Speaking of United ....Kasen Harrison will be getting his 1st start tonight for Lamar.....

Not as embarrassing if they didn’t have a running clock in the 4th. Actually, I don’t know if you call it embarrassing or not, you just got beat by a group of girls that dedicate and put work in to be better at there craft than you do. PNG for years has done that in Volleyball, if they ever make more of a shift in basketball they could be good there too. Mine dedicated herself to basketball for four years at PNG and she lead them to the playoffs the last two years and that was with only one other dedicating themselves. Got to put in the work and time to be that good and you should never let up to not “embarrass” a team because they didn’t work as hard.

I wanna say thanks to all of u. Damon was my best friend. Just know my friend had a long hard fought battle with things nobody knew about. Not sure if I can/will continue to follow local football anymore. He and I been doing this since 94. It won’t be the same without him sitting with me in the stands... RIP D... rest easy my friend

One thing about Crosby that they've always gotten flak for on this site is the fact that they do already "act like they've been there" even if they haven't. I think the other regional final we won in '14 is to far back to matter but one thing for sure is that the kids feel like they're SUPPOSED to be where they are. Hopefully FBM's kids see Crosby's loss to Nederland and how they manhandled them and take us lightly.

I find nothing wrong with it. These girls games need this kind of excitement. Especially this team. They are fun to watch...

I hope you're right, but I've seen them both play. I think HJ wins this by 40+. Lumberton is a really good team, but HJ is just on another level.

I think Turner stadium is just fine, Crosby has allways played very well at that venue. I can also say with confidence that its highly unlikely that the Cougars will come out "star struck" if you will. These boys are playing tword a goal, and that goal is to win the last game of the season... after the impressive 1st round win they have beat 2 teams that, on paper should have won the game. Its hard to predict determination/willpower and these boys are playing with that. If they can clean up the the amount of yards/first downs lost to laundry then they WILL win this game handedly. If not then it will likely go down to the wire, much like the HHS game, if it doesn't get out of hand. Go Cougars!

Yep. If you intentionally or knowingly kill a 3 month old unborn child, it is Capital Murder and death penalty eligible. If the mother does it, it is........ nothing.

Biggest advantage FBM has is experience in playoffs getting this far. Sounds like Ned had a deer in the headlights game. If Crosby can avoid that, they have a very good chance at advancing. Go Cougars!

Again I agree. I saw the 8th graders last year.....they were good and obviously well trained. It is a great program, no one is disputing that.

While Riding Roughly in the Center of town, I was Offended by a very Coordinated attack.

Ahhh, so only get excited and play up to potential when it is a “tough” opponent??? Good thing you aren’t HJ coach. These girls should be showing up every game against every opponent like it is the state championship, that way when they do reach the State Championship they “Play like they have been there before” Fans, parents and “Uncles” should be creating a state championship game environment every time they show up to watch, that way it’s not a new environment when they do get there. You don’t change your game or how your fans cheer based off of the opponent!

The program is reflected by the girls in it. I am the coach.. and I worry about what involves our girls. I will continue to do me.. since you posted trying to stir up stuff regarding one of our players ... just wondering the motive...

Nederland went on a role after losing to PNG. Crosby is now on a roll losing to Nederland. Last week FBM had a track meet and will likely be wore out. So if you guys win, just give Big Ned a thanks. 😄

Watching the team under this coach they just have a different approach. The health of the qb will play a big role in how confident Crosby plays. With #2 at the helm with #1 in the backfield they are much more dynamic. I don’t think they will awe struck. As a Crosby fan, I still hate Turner stadium though lol.

This how ridiculous it’s gotten in California. People need to wake up or this is coming to our front door. These people want stop till we stand up to them. People are losing their livelihoods all over this country. Majority of this country didn’t vote for this bullshit I don’t care what anyone says.

HJ should win by 20+ when they match up on December 30th
