Were you here last season? Seems like you were. Well, Silsbee had this temperamental player. Good athlete & b baller, but stuff would keep him off the court. A few posters said this or that and his Mom found out. She was a verbal brawler. She got loose on this msg board, about her son, and reading her posts was akin to scratching your fingernails on a chalkboard. So, with that in mind, I personally just as soon not say anything about any player. Also, rumor had it a good player was thinking of going to BU instead of SHS. I'd just soon not aggravate that situation either. Sticks and stones, as the old saying goes.

Sorry to disappoint on the defense, but they followed a defensive gameplan to a T! goal was to disrupt sets and the girls did a heck of a job doing so!

75-51 was final Cedar Park blew it open in the 3rd. SheWolves had no answer for #44 down low and definitely got out rebounded. Also SheWolves only has one offensive fire power in Princess and she had about 40 points. Congratulations on a great season!!

No words can express the joy and excitement The Shewolves have brought to the community and program at United. Reaching the state semi finals undefeated (21-0) playing the #1 5A team in the state is monumental. The agony of defeat is real but tomorrow when they look back on this season they can say a job well done. Excellent point... Kimball has a team with the same makings of a United. Great players who play their part With a Star on the team who can get a bucket at anytime and a big man who is coming into himself.. They’re definitely clicking at the right time and are hitting their peak.

This dream season has been one heck of a ride one to be long remembered. The task is not complete just yet. United must show up and show out 2 more times next week. Harvey is the ultimate team player. He does it all and does it well. He lets the opposition pick their poison and makes everyone around him better. I think everyone is kinda getting blinded by the young Tigers. I know the Falcons wouldn't have won this ballgame without Harvey but their next 6 players were underclassmen. They aren't gonna fall off the face of the earth next year. They should match up well against Boerne and could very easily win that ballgame. They do it in a very methodical way but it's a way their coach has them buying into. I don't think they'll have a shot in the title game but I would never have dreamed a month ago when they left Sour Lake they'd be in the state tournament. Congrats to Silsbee on fine season . It's time to give Huffman their due. They are a good ballclub. They are what their record says they are !!

Silsbee cleared the way for Huff by taking out Yates. A championship is beyond them but winning the semi-final is a definite possibility due to the seeding. Whatever they're going to do they better do it now because Harvey is a senior. They wouldn't have won this game without him at the helm. Every Falcon played like they knew he was on that court and he was. He never sat down. He couldn't. Now if they want to advance again he's going to have to play the game of his life. On paper Boerne is a kind of copy of Huff but a little bigger and a little better. I think he and they have it in them. We'll see.

I find the fact that Cedar Park just held the #4 team in the state to TWELVE points in the regional finals pretty terrifying. Georgetown was maybe a bit overrated, but they ended the year at 26-5 and regional finalists, and 3 of their 5 losses this year were to cedar park. Still 100% pulling for BU, but I have a bad feeling about this one. I think the ride ends here, but would love to eat a big crow burger. I'll say CP by 12. Regardless of the result, what a phenomenal season for the Shewolves!
