I spent about 15 minutes replying to this and then my response disappeared so... Yes, it happened the way TVC says it did. I went on approximately 40-50 ridealongs over 5 or 6 years with him, and I saw over and over that the police weren't out to bust anybody's balls, and cut breaks whenever they could. Pretty much every tense situation I ever witnessed between police and civilians was escalated by the civilian.2 points -
Marxist Rep. Maxine Waters Encourages Riots to Continue Unless Chauvin Convicted of Murder!

Sad that this won’t get the attention from the media and the Trump hating clowns that was given to Trump’s speech the wasn’t responsible for any violence at all.2 points -
I’ve been vocal about feeling that Trump was partially responsible for inciting the riot at the Capitol back in January. What Maxine Waters is doing here is wrong, too, and it has nothing to do with her race. The media should report anc condemn this behavior regardless of the party affiliation of the speaker.2 points

School hallways....progressive indoctrination???
LumRaiderFan reacted to 5GallonBucket for a topic
Why is that more times than not that schools don’t have conservative blacks mixed in with other prominent blacks past and present on the school hall walls? very small percentage of prominent black conservatives are present: tony dungy, Alan Keyes, hermain Cain, Lynn swann, Ben carson, Clarence Thomas, Thomas sowell, wilt chamberlain, Candace Owens, Tim Scott to name a few Or even James earl jones and ll cool j who could be moderates. when I do see that small percentage it’s Colin Powell and condoleezza rice. why would you not want kids to be inspired by the likes of dungy, sowell, Carson, swann??? I ve seen George Floyd, Blake, Taylor, kapernick as of lately along with the usuals of mr and Mrs Obama, Kamala, Lebron..... and this is not student work. This is staff members ordering these faces and putting them up.1 point -
Tom Haliburton's Newest Track Report - 4/19
Mr. Buddy Garrity reacted to WOSgrad for a topic
Tom Halliburton’s Track Volume 34, Number 7 _____ April 19, 2021 It’s a real accomplishment for Golden Triangle track and field athletes to reach regionals in the larger classifications of this region. A few of our top performers are still competing in 6A but not many. West Brook buddy Renwick Johnson had to be disappointed because he watched his boys program make some significant strides toward prominence. It’s obvious to me that Renwick wants WB to remain competitive year-in, year-out. That’s hard to do in 6A. A few more Bryce Andersons wouldn’t hurt a thing. As we could expect, the 5A class contains a larger crop of area performers. Most of the Port Arthur, Mid-County and Beaumont 5A standouts are predictably into the regionals. United’s senior United’s Chandler Rivers Chandler Rivers became the new area leader in the boys long jump, soaring 22-8.5. Girls from United and Nederland lowered the best previous area times in two relays while BU’s Alayshia White improved on her own area lead in the girls 300-meter hurdles. Last but not least is PN-G senior Cyrus Jacobs who got under 1:59 in the district meet and got under 1:58 in the area meet, running the 800 meters in 1:57.44. My compliments go out to meet officials on the decision to cancel the 4A area meet at West Orange-Stark. That was a prudent call for sure. Congratulations are in order for coach Johnathan Snipes and his East Chambers girls for dominating the 3A team race with 180 points. One EC female standout, junior Maria Burgos ran to new area-best numbers in both the 800 and 1,600 meters. The new area leaders appear again this week on the back page. I know it is but one instance as an example but Bullets13 was doing a ride along with me on patrol one day. We went to a loud disturbance that had happened more than once and the neighbors were complaining. Due to the size of the disturbance/crowd and the repeated nature of the call, 5-6 officers showed up including me. We did everything we could to peaceably quiet things down and try to do so without making any arrests. The officers were going to write one man a citation for disorderly conduct (disturbing the peace) and going to let the rest of them go. That’s it, please sign this citation and we are out of here. Nope, it broke out into a fight, resisting arrest and officers being assaulted. I was hit several times by a female who was trying to keep me from arresting her father who ran into the garage, possibly to grab a weapon. I just shove her away and did not arrest her but she could have faced time in jail or possibly even prison. Then as we thought we had things calmed down I believe with only one arrest after that big fight and disturbance, it started again with claims of racism by the police. One guy then charged at the officers who were trying to leave when he wanted to confront them. He was taken to the ground and arrested. That brought out more verbal claims of racism by the police. As soon as I got back in the car Bullets13 talked about how the police caused none of that and I don’t want to speak for him but he probably felt the police handled it fairly well considering we were being threatened, had people resist arrest, fleeing from arrests and in a couple of cases like me, assaulted... yet we were the bad guys. I can assure you that we could have used a lot more force lawfully and taken a lot a lot more people to jail. I know it is been one situation and it does not exonerate officers that make stupid mistakes. These kinds of things happen every day however because people think they know the law when they do not or they feel that once they are in a group they will not be held accountable with the relative safety of numbers.1 point

Democrats to propose legislation expanding the Supreme Court
bullets13 reacted to LumRaiderFan for a topic
Agree, the legislating from the bench has always been a major problem to true justice. Also agree that the bias can come from both sides, should have stated that in my earlier post. Take the Constitution at face value in it's own wording, if that's a moderate approach (no bias, left or right), I'm in.1 point -
