I had a very possible exposure a couple of weeks ago but it turned out alright... I just started thinking that it would be ridiculous if I skipped the vaccine and then ended up hospitalized for a few days and set myself back about $20k because I didn't trust a free vaccine. I think by feeder programs, he means the quality local leagues and even travel teams that feed successful programs. My son is 13 and we're starting to get a little more serious about baseball. In the couple dozen times we've played in Beaumont, I've only seen one team that feeds into United. They were athletic, but were very young where baseball skills are concerned. There are some folks trying though.

One of these days they’ll be a great feeder program in place to get our kids ready for HS baseball. Only so much a coach can do. . Until our school district understands this, we’ll continue getting our tails kicked like this...

I’m 75 with underlying problems. For me getting the shots was a nobrainer. Heck, at my age, what can it do to me. If I was less than 60 and still healthy, I wouldn’t have taken it. Between 60 & now, it’d been decision time. To each it’s a personal choice, and should be somewhat based on your age & health. Best as I can tell, it’s most lethal in elderly & underlying causes. Others are just about as likely to die some other way. Okay, off my soap box.
