If we are being honest, you answer less than 25% of the questions I ask you. But of course there are black men qualified to be a head coach.1 point -

No.... I'm not saying that. But to this point we haven't seen black coaches excel in the position. If you take out Tony Dungy and Mike Tomlin, they have a losing record across the board. But honestly, it's kinda like asking if I think coaches whose names start with the letter "T" make better coaches. It has no bearing on their ability to coach. Having said all of that just to say..... I do not believe that Football teams spend millions upon millions of dollars to put the best possible 53 players on the field and make millionaires out of those players REGARDLESS OF COLOR, then suddenly turn racist when it comes time to hire a coach. It's just improbable. How can someone look at the criminal justice system and point out racial disparities that need to be addressed, but have no complaints about the rosters of professional sports teams that have the same disparities? Why aren't you crying for the replacement of all of those black players so that they can be replaced by deserving white ones?1 point -
I’m still waiting for someone to demand Hamas do a ceasefire. I’m not holding my breath. Again under “I never thought I’d see this”, we have Americans in Congress supporting a terrorist organization. How could any American vote for/support a Congressperson (Political Party) like that? It’s insane.1 point

I agree with you. I think that a lot of times explosive young black qbs develop in systems that rely more on their athleticism instead of developing into prototypical “field generals.” It’s also a situation where a lot of white kids end up with private coaches, etc…. when compared to their black qbs. I also think it’s why so many black qbs end up being switched to other positions in college and even at the pro level… the raw athleticism gets them into the show even if the qb skills aren’t top level. You have to admit that guys like Brady and Eli didn’t have all of that success because of their athleticism. It was brain power and pretty good arms. I guess that’s the whole point that I’ve never been able to get across properly. Instead of worrying about what somebody is saying you can’t do, (black guys can’t play qb) why not take pride in what you can do? I had a black family member (by way of marriage) that came to one of the kid’s football games in Bridge City. He looked out at the field at all of our white boys and was like “who’s gonna run the ball?” It was one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard.1 point -

Warren Moon was one of the best QBs I have ever seen play. He was passed on by the NFL because they weren’t ready for a black QB. Dak Prescott reminds me of Moon because both were right handed and could roll to their left and, throwing across their body, and could still get enough on the ball to knock you down. Moon took the Oilers to the playoffs and Houston couldn’t even sell out a home playoff game. It was blacked out..... and Oiler fans wonder why they moved to Nashville. How’s that Big Girl? Too many things have to come together for a team to win a SB. When you have a scrambler, he is someone depended on to somehow beat you with his legs. Defenses can gear up for this and shut it down. The pocket passer..... if the defense cannot sack the QB, he will always beat you with his arm. Has nothing to do with brains. Dan Marino was one of the best all time passers and never won a SB. Ok. Mods can insert this into the sports forum if need be.1 point -

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. If you'd been hired, and I came on here saying "This hire is the sign of a football coach and AD that does NOT want the basketball program to prosper", would you consider that only a criticism directed at the AD, or would you feel like your coaching ability was being questioned as well?1 point

I can guarantee you one thing, there is only one way for WH to dig themselves out of the hole they have fallen into and that is to hire someone that will demand the kids (regardless of sport) get in the weight room.1 point -

I get it. I am glad your doing well. But its a experimental vaccine with very little liability on Big Pharma & the Government. Hey I hope they got it right. I have in laws that received it. Giving out burgers, fries, and a chance to win a million dollars if you get the vaccine seems like a twisted kinda of weird to me.1 point -
How Safe is the Vaccine ?
CardinalBacker reacted to bullets13 for a topic
Safe to say for sure. We also know people who refused the jab died from covid. Isn't that safe to say as well? As for Eric Clapton, I'll be honest, I'm a little hesitant to believe him. No doubt people have had effects from the vaccine, but when an anti-lockdown activist gets the vaccine and starts talking about how horrible it was, talking about side effects nobody else is having, I'm a little suspicious. He and Van Morrison actually wrote and performed an "anti-lockdown" song. So maybe he really got sick afterwards, but I take it with a grain of salt. It's kinda like if you were forced to take the vaccine for work or something and then came on claiming that you became temporarily paralyzed by it or something. I'd have a hard time believing it.1 point -

I read an article yesterday from a “national” news source. We were always taught growing up that news was supposed to be objective and simply to lay out the FACTS. This article was dripping with opinions, propaganda and was unabashedly one-sided. Then I looked at the author’s name and it was of middle-eastern origin. This was a National article that slammed Israel for defending their God-given country. Amazing!!!1 point
