Kids have always been my soft spot. The only time I physically let my emotions show during my ambulance days was over a child. It was a drowning, kid drowned in his car seat and when we got the car pulled out of the canal, Mom was laying over the front seat from what appeared to be her trying to get the child out. I can still picture it my head like it happened yesterday.

The heading of the article is misleading, if we are being honest. Tucker simply interpolates that a few thousand have died after being vaccinated. That is true. He never undeniably states they died BECAUSE of the vaccine though. That’s like saying that oxygen is killing all people. After all, every person that died breathed oxygen just before doing so. I’m not taking up for the vaccine. I’m simply saying you’ll get more traction to your argument with an honest and fair analysis of information (facts) that aren’t being skewed or presented with an agenda.

it is an absolutely correct decision and/or it is absolutely a stupid decision. I think it sucks but maybe I understand the rationale. It seems to me that you should get the best people together and everybody do whatever activity it is, and whoever comes out in the top three gets to move on. That is one way to do it. That apparently is not what they go by at least for the high jumpers. The US Olympic committee has apparently set a standard. You have all season to make that standard. If you have never overcome that arbitrary standard during the season, the Olympic trials are a “last chance” to prove you’re worth it. So if A jumped 6’6” three months ago and B has never cleared 6’5”’ this season, B can come to the trials as a last chance. B might have been better today at the trials but has never done better than A did in the last few months. I have not read all of that but it seems like the Olympic committee has come up with a magic number. If you beat that magic number sometime in the last year, you qualify. McPherson did not beat that number and had one last chance to do so and did not. Do they do that for other track and field events? Is there 100 m dash minimum of 10.0 seconds? So if a guy ran a 9.75 six months ago but hasn’t broken 10.3 since then, does he go over a guy who ran 10.1 at the trials? If that’s the rules going in and they are the same for everybody, then you go by the rules. I think most people would rather see, who won when you got them all together head to head.

I do remember that the ax that trufan has to grind with Cornel Thompson has been carried by him for a long time. And that everybody who dared to disagree with him was dismissed as having a blind allegiance to Coach Thompson (much like he did here). And which I am sure that at some point soon I will be accused of. I do remember that any issue with a Mustang African-American player he took the side of the player, any issue with a white player he cast doubt on.....heck he even panned Jack Dallas. So I remember that he has an issue with Cornel Thompson. Is it racial? I do know of a faction, small but loud, who opposed Cornel Thompson's hiring simply due to the fact that he was a white man. I do know that he tried to infer that there was racism within the WO-C ISD athletic department. Mind you, this is a district in which the superintendent of schools is African-American, the president of the school board is African-American, the African-American members of the school board outnumber the whites on the school board 5-2. The principal at West Orange-Stark is African-American. Yet, none of them have registered this complaint....and with the current state of media, you know we would know about it if they did! I do know that the "about the kids" has been abandoned in favor lamenting that "blacks can only get jobs in Beaumont, Port Arthur or Orange" talking about "head coaches"......not basketball head coaches, as his attribution of color would be wrong, not ADs as the number of ADs would be wrong, but a ratio that EXACTLY matches the racial makeup of HEAD FOOTBALL COACHES in this area. So, yeah, I think it is entirely reasonable to infer his posts have nothing to do with other sports and that has a lot to do with the fact that a white coach is head football coach at West Orange-Stark.
