Since football season is inching closer and we're kinda in a dead period til August when two-a-days start. Which non-district team are you excited for your team to play this season and why? I'll go first. For me, I'm excited for the Pirates to play Silsbee to start the season since hurricane Laura ruined those plans last season. Last time Vidor played the Tigers was in 2004, 17 years ago when the Pirates won 28-27. If this game is anything like years past, it's gonna be a great game and good measuring stick going forward into the season.

He went to the school board and they spoke on getting turf on all the fields and the indoor facility. I don’t know when it will be voted on. It definitely won’t be this upcoming year. I think it’s gonna be hard to get it passed through to the citizens
