You seem scared of trump.......I mean, you comment on every post he is associated with.....I think you think he can win..... I think Harris will run in 24, I'm not constantly posting about her or commenting every time she is mentioned.....because she does not have a chance to win......she is no threat, therefore no need to talk about.....2 points -
Isnβt This an Insurrection?
SmashMouth and one other reacted to thetragichippy for a topic
I'm not sure how he would do a second run.....I think if he and Ron Desantis run on same ticket, that could be a successful venture. Also look at what a horrible job Biden is doing....and he can't complete a sentence.....so who runs in his place, Harris? She was at the bottom of the ticket when she ran for President. Legally, they will never be able to prove Trump caused the riot. Using fighting terms in public speeches has been going on since the founding of our country, plus it's used in sports, by cheerleaders, etc......that along with the fact he said "peaceful" in the Jan 6th speech, this insurrection nonsense is just media and political theater.2 points -

From the article: "Arriving in Style: Many of these migrants, who apparently have abandoned what is otherwise considered to be impoverished situations, arrive with expensive smart phones, backpacks, walking boots, and a variety of other gear and accoutrements that represent a visible contradiction to their reasons for departing at all. Who is paying for the trek? From where does the support come? McAllen Texas, where Biden has dumped more than 1,000 migrants, wants to know that and a whole lot more. So do many other U.S. cities." Plus -- From one of the posters to the article: "Covid numbers were dropping to fast and the government was losing it's control...Easier to just allow couple of million infected illegals to drive up the covid numbers so the government control is reestablished." I guess the irony is that the people who THOUGHT they were being responsible by avoiding the vaccine are now almost 100x more likely to end up hospitalized than someone who isn't vaccinated...1 point -

My problem is that the whole thing has gotten so politicized... There should be no need for a mandated vaccine... there are so many "smart" people walking around refusing to vaccinate that it'll never get curbed. It's just gonna keep mutating and spreading. It's pretty funny that 95%+ of the people being hospitalized and dying are unvaccinated but people still won't go get the shot. I know tons of guys who were vaccinated for everything under the sun back in the military but won't go near this vaccine because a certain somebody in red ball cap didn't get re-elected. All of the people here refusing to take the vaccine are the same ones that were praising operation Warp Speed late last year. Literally.... the same people.1 point -

LumRaiderFan reacted to SmashMouth for a topic
No disrespect to your post. Itβs at least a fair question. Which precautions are you speaking of? If itβs a mask mandate, then my answer would be no. If itβs shutting down businesses, then my answer would be no. If itβs a vaccination mandate, then my answer would be no. If itβs virtual classroom instruction instead of in person learning, then my answer would be no. Now, if you mean a return to personal responsibility and doing what you think is right for yourself and your family, then my answer would be a resounding yes! Vaccinate if itβs the right choice for YOU. Mask up if itβs the right choice for YOU. Stay home and shelter in place if itβs the right choice for YOU. Let people live as responsible citizens.1 point -
From the article: If youβre wondering how all of this can possibly be legal, rest assured that itβs not β itβs not even arguably legal. We know for a fact that itβs not. The Supreme Court just ruled on the question, specifically. The court found that the CDC does not have the right to institute a nationwide eviction moratorium. Period. Only Congress can do that. Now, the court didnβt make us guess on their view on this, the court put that in writing, in the clearest possible language. There's no debate about that. The Biden Administration just ignored what the court said. How can they do that? Congresswoman Maxine Waters of Los Angeles understands exactly how they did it. Waters is hardly a genius. Itβs likely sheβs never read an entire book. But one thing Maxine Waters knows well is how third-world regimes operate. When you want something, you simply take it. Youβve got the guns. Whoβs going to stop you? Might makes right. The Fidel Castro method. Waters explained that out loud today, as she pushed Rochelle Walensky to suspend private property in America. "I don't buy that the CDC can't extend the eviction moratorium," Waters wrote on Twitter, perfectly aware that the Supreme Court had already prohibited it. "Who is going to stop them? Who is going to penalize them?" Well, good question, nobody. And Nancy Pelosi knows that too. Pelosi knows that what Rochelle Walensky just did is illegal by definition. She also knows that openly ignoring a Supreme Court ruling will mean the end of our current system. Thatβs fine with Nancy Pelosi. "The CDC has the power to extend the eviction moratorium," Pelosi said. She didnβt explain where that power comes from. She simply declared that it exists, as dictators do. Democrats aren't even trying to mask their lawlessness anymore.1 point

Did you actually just repeat the often quoted but proven lie that a cop got his brains beat in with a fire extinguisher? Are you really this "misinformed" or just a gullible sheeple? That statement pretty much epitomizes your depth of knowledge of the situation. Who could take you serious when you pull crap like that. You would be infinitely better served by staying off any topics involving Trump. Your blind hatred is making you look incredibly stupid...to the point on par with Magatrust. Seriously, think about that. You are on par with the reigning "worst poster on the board" when you delve into topics involving Trump. I say "I feel sorry for you" jokingly or sarcastically often, but this time the statement is for real. I can't fathom how someone can harbor so much hate for such petty reasons.1 point -

We are blessed to have some great coaches in this area. Not good but GREAT. Obviously the two Beaumont guys are legends and Hall of Famers. So is Sutherland. I suspect Sigler will be as well. And most of those listed in this thread are very good as well. But if you are a basketball guy and donβt have Foster near the top of your list, you just havenβt seen BS play (much or at all). Heβs as good as there is.1 point -

I have to do some more digging because the story just broke I think. I have found it on a couple of websites but not a major new source yet. If it is true it is outrageous. According to the story a democratic congressman from Pennsylvania has authored a bill that will prohibit any ammunition purchases without a photo ID. [Hidden Content]1 point

My dad was a cop back in the 70βs and would work extra-jobs at the games. We would drop him off and pick him up after the game in the Chrysler Volareβ station wagon. Great memories, with the Record Rack across the street, and the old fairgrounds in the area. Also remember him working Greenie Stadium and weβd get to go to the games. Proposal For New CFB Conference

Since Texas and OU are leaving Big 12 for SEC, some schools like Kansas and Iowa State wanting to join Big 10 and OK State and Kansas State are bolting for like ACC or Pac-12, I read an article in Texas Monthly on a new Conference consisting of all Texas schools in FBS. It could be the new Southwest Conference. I am posting link to article and tell your thoughts on that. Tyler Dixson reacted to Cougar14.2 for a topic
Unless you're a SLC fan, how is this a bad thing? A 17 year old has seven figures sitting in from of him, to some families that is life changing. For the player, he gets some money up front. What if he tears his achilles next Spring and end up getting beat out by another 5 star and never plays, meaning he never hits the league and earns the money some are saying he should wait on? For Ohio State it's definitely a win. Your prize recruit doesn't have to risk injury his senior year and you get a head start working with him. Everybody is always for capitalism until it starts to delve into areas that they don't like. As of right now NIL is the most fair way to compensate the employees who are bringing in hundreds of millions into some of these companies.1 point -
