I just read a lengthy and interesting article about cultural appropriation. According to implications of the article, if you like Elvis Presley music, you are guilty of cultural appropriation. In fact Elvis himself is guilty. If you open a pizza restaurant and you are not from Italy or of Italian heritage, you are guilty of the same. Want to make and sell gumbo? Not so fast. Since the etymology of gumbo is believed to come from the African word for okra, unless you are Black you should not cook gumbo to sell or you are guilty of cultural appropriation. Sounds like a good scrimmage on both sides. PN-G gave the Stangs what they needed, a good test. A PN-G observer with a doctorate in Officiation said the WOS line held every play. The guy is evidently legit, I checked him out on dollartreediplomas.com. If this is the case however that will need to be cleaned up. This offense could be dynamic. Once the rubber bullets are put back on the shelf the WOS D will be the WOS D.

I agree, it should be everyone’s choice, but many folks take a hard stand because they see that choice being taken away IF you want to do certain activities, some even being required to take the vaccine for their job, and not even in the medical field. Let folks simply decide with no pressure from the top level of government that we must be vaccinated.

It’s to easy for the black Dim leadership to blame everything on slavery. Like you said, they have convinced their community of this. Chicago and Houston are prime examples of failed black leadership, but slavery must be to blamed for their incompetence.

I believe BC had 3 scores and Lumberton with 1. I saw some things I liked, but also some things that still need work. Two of the scores for BC were on long passes. BC defense had several big 3rd down stops. Oline has to play better. We are missing a huge piece from last season, but the new guys have to step up. I realize it’s a previous chief and said so. Either chief it’s just one man’s opinion. Obviously I’m entitled to my opinion. Otherwise you might as well shut down the forum. I don’t think the PNG people care about the Cleveland Indian‘s or anyone else. If they decide to change, great but that will be their choice, not because of political pressure in my opinion. I obviously cannot speak for the people from Port Neches and Groves but I think they would keep the name Indians merely out of anti political correctness, in your eye type of response. Maybe some people are tired of touchy-feely.

Nothing will improve until the people in charge come to the realization that people from other races or ethnicities or the police are not the problem. Actually I think they have come to that realization but they have convinced the masses otherwise. If a Hispanic guy kills another Hispanic rival gang member in a drive-by shooting, it is because there was slavery in the United States over 150 years ago? It is because there is a white president? It is because of any police officers of any race? The blame game will continue because there is a profit to be made even if that profit is just a political agenda or fame.

I still support 100% the naming of their mascot Indians or at their discretion something else if they wish. Next, the latest chief that overturned what the last chief did has no bearing except one man’s opinion. PNG is not called the Cherokees. They are called the Indians. The current chief of the Cherokee tribe is entitled to his opinion. The people from PNG are entitled to theirs and that includes the naming of their mascot the generic term Indian.

The last few years we've been used to seeing one of the best LBs to play for WOS. These kids aren't on the same level yet. But trust the process to have them prepared.

Barbers Hill vs Hightower BH wins 2-0. Barbers Hill vs Willis BH wins 2-0 Barbers Hill vs Huffman BH wins 2-0 Barbers Hill wins the Huffman Tournament. Huffman gets second and Nederland got third. Barbers Hill is 10-0 on the season and will play area power Deer Park on Tuesday.

No. 28 is a monster at RB for the Titans. PAM will be fine. There's not a team in that district that's going to stop that kid.

WB is fine. They actually looked really good on defense. The offense had a couple of drops, miscues, and Bryce could have had couple easy rushing TDs had this been a real game. The Bruins are breaking in an entirely new coaching staff and new schemes on both side of the ball.

Woodville did not do very well. My expectations have been dashed.

We have a lot of work to do. There is a HUGE drop off in our running game from what we’ve been used to the last several years from what I saw last night.

I only caught the last half of the live quarter for the Ned game. Offense looked pretty good, there were a few mistakes (overthrown or underthrown balls, possible wrong routes run.) The D-line and O-line looked good, big boys on both sides. The D will be tough, they get to the QB and swarm the ball, they recovered at least one fumble that I saw. The secondary needs some work, but I am not sure if it was first team still playing or if it was backups when I was there.

I thought Vidor looked good especially on offense, quick off the ball, ball carriers are hard nosed and hard to bring down and had alot of YAC unlike the past few years. QB threw about 6 or 7 passes and only had a few incompletions. He also has great vision and very speedy. But had some miscues with false starts and fumbles which was expected in the first scrimmage. Defense looked salty like expected, Buna scored on a long pass play on their second drive. I don't think they crossed the 50 yard line maybe twice all night. But WOS will be a much better measuring stick next week!

I think it is a HIPAA violation to ask what vaccine someone has taken. I know that is completely false but I love reading that on various forums. I like the comments such as, if your employer asks you to take the vaccine, he is violating HIPAA and you can sue. That has to be the most misunderstood law ever and people draw it like a gun. “You can’t talk about that!! HIPAA!!”
