Something I believe that many Crosby fans do not understand. This area is very good at backing each other as we advance through the playoffs. I may give em hell when we play them, but I was a Crosby fan all the wat through the playoffs last year. I agree with you. I give Crosby the respect they deserve. First they should be picked to win district they played for the SC last year. This little corner of Texas backs each other with the exception of a few who hate the other schools for the wrong reasons. I give my respect to Crosby for their accomplishments.

After 3 weeks of football last year there probably were 0 people on here that thought Crosby would run that gauntlet in the region and play for the title, very few thought that would happen after the Nederland loss. Not many thought they would win state in the 4 X 100 last year. Football team caught that lightening in a bottle, the track kids were just fast, dedicated, and worked their hind ends off. Now, I don’t think right now anyone believes they’ll play for a title this year, but the Coach is figuring things out and we’ll see how far they go.

Heights is definitely better then your Normal HISD schools. They have had some kids the past couple years. They should have a WR there that would be a Sr this year who is committed to Oregon. But he transferred to Lancaster last year and now at Desoto. I know they had a decent Qb and Rb last year but not sure if they are there this year. I think BH wins by 14-21.

Bill Parcels was an NFL coach. High school and college are totally different when you speaking on levels of competition.

The thing was such a wreck it went into conservatorship, then later absorbed into HISD.

Both of those schools I thought were part of North Forest ISD and not HISD.

Are you aware of that? Burkeville has won more football playoff games this century than HD has. Evadale has. Hardin has also. In fact... every school in the state that has won at least one football playoff game this century has won more than HD. Couple that with the fact that most of your wins come against the historically worst programs in the state... My guy. HD is in fact... a “school of the blind”. As you so eloquently put it.

That is one of the great things about speculation. In 3 quarters of play, WOS managed 130 yards of offense and no touchdowns. In that same time Nederland managed almost 300 yards and 2 touchdowns… but WOS was on the way back. WOS very well might have come back. We will never know… But it sure is great speculating isn’t it?
