Raised my family selling alcohol for 25 years, witnessed many a salesman loose their career because they could not control their drinking. Because they never did random testing those that smoked never lost their jobs because they didn't become bullet proof like drinkers think they become.

I agree that alcohol is worse. I basically said as much after my original statement. I also agree with the second statement to some degree, but I think that varies quite a bit by location.

The folks who make predictions have a hard time, because you can truly throw the records out in most cases when these two face off, including this year. Last year, Nederland was by far the better football team, and probably should've won by the 14 being predicted by the experts. But this game rarely plays out how you think and normally comes down to the 4th quarter. Good luck boys, make a memory.

People actually forget that KP has the largest enrollment in the district at 1,888. Texas City also has a larger enrollment than both Crosby and BH. It could be as much as half of the current district that has D1 numbers at realignment. I’m sure the caps will go up so it will probably keep at least two of the four in D2.

Woodville--Injuries & Discipline How well have we recovered from our injuries? Will we keep our cool after being provoked, which was a factor last year? For some reason Buna pushes a lot of buttons when they taunt, everygame has taunting but we seem to really not handle it from Buna Buna--New HC, New Scheme's Learning curve seems to be causing the program issues early this season or have they been holding back? Has the injury bug hit them as well causing the lack of offense? 0-4 Losses to larger schools OK but the lack of offense from Buna is puzzling they usually are at least competitive Usually a battle between these two Teams so I wouldn't expect anything less, Hoping for an injury free night as we Open District. Most of us are good sports and very respectful of other schools. We've never had a huge following on here for some reason. I'm not sure why that is, but we have good fans on here.

I wouldn’t say it failed. The Kpark player stepped out of bounds after it was executed and he was running into the endzone. BH has thrown 3 interceptions in the first half and still is ahead by 3 scores.

A means to legally get him in handcuffs? Even the article says, “while this warrant allows law enforcement to arrest….”. I think this is to change him from a missing person to a wanted felon. Remember that Timothy McVeigh who blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City was arrested for a license plate violation. Like always, every state and federal laws are different. It does not say who’s credit card he used so it could be a legitimate theft. It can also belong to Gabby and in Texas it would be almost a meaningless charge. It is not against the law to use someone else’s debit or credit card. It is against the law to use it without consent. This guy was engaged to Gabby. They probably swapped credit cards several times. There is almost no way they could prove without her statement that he did not have consent to use it. They would have to almost prove murder first and if they prove that, why worry about a credit card charge? Again, it is probably a felony charge meaning that if he is arrested anywhere, he can be extradited across state lines. It is a police tactic and a means to an end, in my opinion.

The media and Democratic party are great with catch phrases and trends. No one "worships" Trump. I believe it was CardinalBacker that said earlier Trump called "ALL Mexicans rapist and murders" ......That is a factually an untrue statement, but it was reported by the media and has become fact to many.....The media hates Trump because Trump bypassed them. When he was on social media he did not need them and when asked questions, he talked over them, called them out and spoke directly to the people.......people don't worship Trump, they support him for his policies and outlook......who would not want to make America great?

The thing I love most about Terrance’s game is his ability to have a major impact whether he is scoring the ball or not. Tremendous defender who is extremely unselfish offensively (to a fault sometimes) and loves to keep his teammates involved. He has really climbed up the national rankings but as someone who sees much of the best the country has to offer each summer, he is still ranked too low IMO.

Good to see Dayton fans excited about football! I still remember the drummings that we took from the Broncos, so we know the talents there just got to have someone bring it together. Goodluck

Big Ned is no longer the big dog. I believe they have a few more softy spots than Png. That’s my observation of the groups that are on the field now from watching them the past few years. The wr is legit though. Not enough.

The area has a lot of good players... I am totally spoiled getting to coach quite a few top notch players every day. These girls work their tails off daily! I have coached for 20+ years and would have loved to have the talent that we have in our 8th and 9th spots any other year. Should be exciting! Praying that the Covid mess is under control before we crank up! Been very hard to get local games this year, so lots of bus miles for the Lady Hawks this year!

Well I think I can start it off by naming off 2 of the most notable returners this year in the Sneed girl and Jackson both at HJ. That back court duo will be one of if not the best in the state in any classification.
