  1. Dayton really isn’t that bad. They look a lot more like the Bronco teams we used to play physically. Dayton has played the Crosby run game better than anybody so far this season, their dbs are just struggling to cover the Crosby receivers. Dayton had some confidence coming into the game but Crosby has put their best half of the season together so far. At this point both teams just need to be trying to get out of here healthy.

  2. Can’t lose turnover battle. Especially scoring turnovers. 14 point swing in a game your controlling. No need to be talking about axing the coach.

  4. Alright, let me provide some context and try to put this “ref” debate to rest… Silsbee had 14 penalties for 125 yards called on them… crazy! of those 14 penalties, 6 were either false start or offside. Both of those are pretty obvious penalties so you can’t really argue against those. So that leaves 8 penalties of which 4 were holding. I know for sure we called one, if not two, or those holding calls on the broadcast before the flag was even thrown. We both saw it. So that leaves us with 4 penalties in question. One of those was a pass interference on silsbee. Defender didn’t try to make a play on the ball. Receiver for O-field came back to make a play on the ball and the silsbee defender ran into him. That’s gonna get called every time. Another was a personal fouls for a horse collar. Again, very obvious call. So 2 penalties left… there was a block in the back. This was one of those times when the receiver catches he ball and cuts across the field. Another silsbee receiver was going to make a block but because the ball carrier was changing directions it made the defender turn his back at the last second, causing a block in the back. I remember this play very clearly. Jackson made a good move and had a great gain; but the penalty was valid. That leaves 1 penalty which was sideline warning. I guess that can be argued either way. But I can see why they called it. That’s my two cents

  9. All this talk has taken away from the excitement of that last drive for orangefield. They had a 3rd and 28 and completed their only pass of the game for 48 yards. All to have their FRESHMAN kicker kick the game winning field goal from about 30 yards out leaving 8 seconds on the clock. On homecoming night. You can’t make this stuff up, and no matter who you were rooting for last night one thing is true: this is why we are all FANatics of High School football

  15. Me too. I'm also for mandating a strict, healthy food regime for everyone. Have you noticed all of those fat slobs in the doctors office. I have to wait for hours to see the doctor because of these idiots. Let's force them to eat healthy. Ban meat. Ban dairy. Ban everything unhealthy in the name of protecting me, my family, my loved ones, and of course, our fearless political leaders. We need an "Operation Warp Speed" diet commission to produce a pill that those idiots must take so they will be healthy and will not fill up the hospitals. I hate looking at those disgusting people. They need to be forced into submission. I'm also in favor of mandatory exercise for these disgusting slobs. If you cannot show a body/fat ratio test that falls within a government mandated acceptable range, you cannot enter a restaurant. You cannot enter any public workplace. You cannot board a plane. I don't want to be forced to pay extra fuel costs trickled down into the cost of my plane ticket due to these fatties. Let's also mandate masks, year round, in all public and private places. I can't stand when these people cough or sneeze within 50 feet of me while not wearing a mask. Some of these disgusting people have the nerve to enter a grocery store during flu season...while I'm there. Don't these idiots realize they are spreading their disgusting germs in my presence. Mandatory masks will solve this problem. Of course we will need a federal commission to study how many masks these filthies must wear. I'm guessing 2 for first offense, 5 for second offense. The third offense should result in stapling the masks to their face. We must also control procreation. We, and every fellow enlightened one can agree, surely don't want these disgusting people spitting out more vile copies of themselves. Our leaders must mandate who can reproduce, and with who. This will greatly improve my future, as well as everyone I care about. I voted these political leaders into office. Their job is to protect me from those who make bad health choices in life. Luckily I, and our leaders are "sophisticated" and do not need to follow these rules. But those disgusting people must conform. So yes, I'm on board. Let's mandate the unwashed masses until they conform or die. The Earth will be a much better place once we get rid of the people that won't obey. Once we get rid of the unintelligent degenerates, then we can have a more scientific debate on what is healthy for the rest of us.

  24. Stacking and shooting gaps with unblocked guys, sometimes the play is over before we get off all the ball fakes. They have 2 guys staying somewhat deep linebacker depth but the rest are coming. They said to hell with staying home and staying disciplined. They aren’t necessarily trying to read the play or find the ball just getting in our backfield untouched and mucking it up. Outs and flat routes would be wide open if you have time to get the ball off after all the fakes. Our best runs have been to the outside with keeps or sweeps.

  35. first and foremost, hats off to the Vidor Pirates for playing a helluva game and getting the win. now, if I may address a call by the officials that very well may have impacted the outcome of the game. Jasper was flagged for excessive celebration after scoring their TD. that is a dead ball foul that should have been enforced on pat. instead it was enforced on Jasper's kickoff to Vidor. instead of kicking from the 40 it was kicked from the 25. maybe those 15 yards may not have helped in the scoring drive but I can tell you this, it sure did NOT hurt it.

  36. I told yall we would have our hands full. Our defense was bend but don't break for most of the night. But their defensive line was in our backfield more than our running backs were. Until we solve that it will be the same every time. I can definitely see a scenario where we go 28-4 in 2 years and lose all 4 games to Carthage.

  38. Unless you lined up against them, which Crosby had the pleasure of doing twice, you’ll never understand how good of a high school tandem the Bobino brothers were. Huntsville got good because of that defense and the fact that they had Matthew Southern, which was the head coach’s son, at qb for three years. They dropped 54 on Crosby in the second round in ‘19 and 43 on FB Marshall in the regional final in ‘18. Outside of that they’ve never really been able to score on good defenses. For as big as the Hornets are they play a pretty finesse style of offense. On top of that it’s not very complex because in recent years 21 points has been enough to win them a bunch of games. When Eazy said Maxpreps had rhe 5th best team in the district ranked I guess he was taking about Huntsville?

  39. Great game…personally I think png gave up on the run game too soon…nederland played it better in the second half, but never really controlled it…png was only down 3 with 5:36 left and had a reasonable chance to run the ball down the field and control the clock leaving Nederland very little time great resilience by the dogs…finished on a 24-0 run!!

  41. When the tide turned against PNG, dozens of people stood up en masse and started to leave - there were still six minutes in the game. You have to think the players noticed that and it can’t be good for morale, and certainly doesn’t help them get their head back in the game. PNG fans are constantly thumping their chests about how we have the best fans in Texas and honestly tonight it was embarrassing. How hard is it to sit still? Png played well tonight, but tonight we had the worst fans in Texas. Good win, Nederland. Reminded me of PnG’s 2018 win. Fusilier is the real deal, and I’m happy for him to get a MCM win before leaving high school.

  47. People actually forget that KP has the largest enrollment in the district at 1,888. Texas City also has a larger enrollment than both Crosby and BH. It could be as much as half of the current district that has D1 numbers at realignment. I’m sure the caps will go up so it will probably keep at least two of the four in D2.
