I think you got the who’s in who’s head stuff backwards. Saying a guy got out-coached is a “personal attack” now? As far as Abseck I think he’s probably a great coach, I think TW is a great coach too. No doubt Gage is solid. Former two coaches struggled though. I don’t think it’s unfair to point out that he’s in the same boat until he’s not. I felt the same way in the beginning about coach Prieto who came to Crosby in a similar situation. The record was one thing but we were struggling doing basic varsity stuff like lining up properly. After watching the level we executed at under Riordan that was tough. By the end of his first season Crosby was pretty good. We were good by our second game under Riordan. The ribbing I do with the BH fans about their coaching is simply because that’s their big feather, kind of like PNG used to be with their quarterback’s passing stats.

Somehow my point is no getting across, Trump is a rude, crude blowhard, no argument from me. You have never seen me defend his behavior. I will also not defend folks that willingly vote for a destructive candidate over their hurt feelings. I read regularly on this forum where parents are hammered for running a good coach out of town because he cussed or yelled at their kids, or worked them too hard. If only the coach had been nicer, to heck with results, don't hurt feelings...how are those programs doing. Only difference is this is much more important to our lives.

This is not a reply to you Bullets, just a rant I want to expound upon my previous post. You got me riled up...in a good way. I think I can make my point clearer. If Trump would have "abdicated his thrown" for whatever reason the first week into his presidency, Mike Pence would have assumed the role. Pence's moral/social standing is impeccable. If Pence would have enacted the same exact policies as Trump, I have absolutely no doubt, repeat, absolutely no doubt, that the same character assassinations would have commenced upon him. Lies, fake conspiracies, fake accusations would have been just as rampant. (See Brett Kavanaugh.) Pence's policy successes would have been ignored/buried per Liberal playbook. Through these unconscionable attacks, the Liberal media would have mobilized the anti-"GOP" vote no matter who was at the helm. History has shown this clear as day to me. It is even worse now. Watch how the media treats politicians differently based on party. Watch which scandals based on evidence get buried, and which scandals "go viral" based on zero credible evidence, you know...anonymous sources backed up by biased "experts". It has come to pass, it will come again.

Being a neutral fan I'm just hoping for a good game. I hope PNG wins but if I had to bet I'd take Crosby.

Don’t get bent out of shape, because I don’t disagree with much that you said here, but this is literally a trump apologist post. I think trump did a pretty good job as president, and I voted for him twice. The only difference between myself and a lot of folks on here is that I’m willing to place blame on him for the way he acted. It’s directly affecting you, me, and everyone else as we speak. He brought democratic voters out to the polls in a way that lame duck Biden never could, and pushed a lot of centrists left. Y’all can continue to blame everyone that he upset for how stupid they were for voting for Biden, but that doesn’t change the fact that had he shown some humility and common sense, and not devoted so much time to insulting people, we wouldn’t be having this conversation (and our country would be a lot better off).

That was a very special team to me, watching that video brings back so many memories of the 2012 Vidor Pirates. You see #28 Matt Thomas playing linebacker, he died shortly after that game. They dedicated the season to him and made a nice playoff run. They would stop to kneel and pray at the 28 yard line every time they came out of the tunnel after being led out by Matt’s father holding the Pirate flag. They scored 28 points to win the first game following his death to honor him. His little brother Celly was moved up to varsity and wore his jersey the rest of the season. [Hidden Content] MQ, Bolinger, Godeaux, Stevenson and Novak in the backfield with Brentyn Clark leading the way and John Boy Smith at TE. Stout defense led by MQ, Bryce Cooper, Quinten Whitmire and Alex Boutte. Even yours truly making an appearance in the video when the camera pans the home crowd stands. 🏴‍☠️

I’ll attempt to put this in a nutshell….. Trump was seen as the man who would shake up the festivities of the Democratic Party aka. the deep state, and their millions in pocket money. You can’t be Mr. Nice Guy and get things accomplished. He rubbed people the wrong way and that is a good thing, whether you like it or not. This country was founded on the middle finger so I can’t see why true Americans get their panties wadded over some harsh words and criticism. It was always a home away from home for us. Played a lot of good games there especially against Lee in their heyday. Definitely one of my all time favorite stadiums.

Realistically, the people who say stuff like this are the people who the mean tweets appeal to. He's in an echo chamber... he has supporters that clap like seals no matter what he says or does. It doesn't matter if Trump liked John McCain or not... the guy was a legit hero and was beloved in his home state of Arizona. Is it a surprise that Arizonans voted for the guy that DIDN'T take posthumous dump on McCain? Apparently that outcome came as a complete shock to Trump and his loyalists across the country. This is my firm belief. Trump didn't win a single vote with his childish behavior in the first debate. No reasonable person watched that mess and thought... you know, that guy throws a good fit. I'm voting for him. But I can guarantee that Trump's behavior earned Joe Biden a lot of votes. You can't blame that on the media... trump did it to himself.

I have been on here since this board was the smack attack board. If you can't give or take a little good spirited rubbing then you are the problem. I have played flag football games with this group back when we would play Orange County vs Jefferson County posters. Not sure that Lee thought they were tough or that they overlooked them like the Ball announcers said about 20 times in the second half Lee played hard and performed as well as they could and it just wasnt good enough. Ball figured something out in the short passing game and just worked it over and over in big situations. The other teams Lee played hadn't been able to do that. I think a 25 point Memorial win seems reasonable. Lee will need a good 3-4 Memorial turnovers I think to have a chance.
