Are you really beating your chest over this? Where is your consistency in energy? First the players sucked and the coaches were good. Then the coaches sucked and the players were good. Then the whole football program at United sucked and you were in basketball mode. Now that United is about to back into the playoffs in one of the weakest football districts in the state, you have your chest out. @BMTSoulja1 go look back over your United football posts from week to week and do what Barry White sings about, practice what you preach! Or in your words "keep that same energy".

IMO, as far as this district is concerned, the game of the week should be Livingston/Huffman. It's by far the most important game next week. Winner goes to playoffs, loser ends season. It's just like a playoff game.

Too many injuries and it’s not the same team as week 1. Coaching staff is actually pretty good but I’d move on from a few coaches on the defensive side of the ball. West Brook hired Chuck Langston 5 yrs to late.

Wr- Andre Dennis and (TE) Ben Bennet was out with a concussion. Bryce Anderson was out with the same injury from earlier in the year. (Sprained AC Joint)

So if this pic took place off campus at a private party and was not a school sanctioned, sponsored party, then why is the school involved or even brought into this? So private parties are now the business of the school? This is so lame.

My point of reference is PN-G v. Crosby and PN-G v. TC. Watching those two games, the second unit for Crosby will still beat TC. The Stingarees have a physical and quick DL/LB group, but not a lot of size and they were not as disruptive as what I saw from Crosby. At times, the PN-G OL pushed around TC. The secondary for TC was supposed to be good, but the Indians had open WRs. In contrast, the Crosby DL was disruptive from start to finish, and there were smaller windows to make throws. That's just me. I'm not a coach. That was my eye test. Against TC, PN-G was back in the business of giving away a win...we gave one to Nederland and then felt generous when playing TC. If the Indians play clean games against Nederland and TC, throw the ball to people wearing purple/white, and wake up the secondary and special teams coaches from their Friday night naps, PN-G would be sitting in second place. Instead, we give away wins. On top of that, last night during OT, we have 1st and goal, the OL had some momentum holding its own at the line of scrimmage, and Trahan is a good HS RB. The Indians do not give their run game a shot to score? Frustrating play calls in OT. Great play calls in the 2Q and 3Q. Gave our offense momentum. Frustrating 1Q and 4Q. We allow a wing-T team to throw the ball around like Joe Montana to Jerry Rice? Everyone in the stadium knows TC needs to steal a possession and will likely try an onside kick, but we do not coach up our kids to be prepared? In OT, we abandon the run game with 1st and goal? Giving away wins...frustrating. Kids gave good effort. I'll still be there next Friday watching the purple/white Indians vs. the green Indians. Go Big Purple! Good luck to the other district teams...Crosby...BH...TC. Get ready for a good playoff push.

They're extremely well-coached on that side of the ball. Jasper mixed in some of the of the Wing-T that they had run over the last few years also, which kept Center's offense off the field. Our running game was better than it's been all season. I think most of our fans knew we'd make the playoffs (mostly because the district isn't very good), but our defense will make us a tough out.

I really don’t have words. He will say that he ran a play and the success percentage was this or that. I know if it was Tecmo Bowl, I would have pounded the rock 4 times. And then went for 2. But he’s the coach, and he has to make the calls. Credit to the Indians for being in a game everyone, including myself counted them out. Tough loss. But it is what it is. Kudos to the kids on the field. Played hard and gave a heck of an effort!!

I don’t know why they can’t get that right. I would think the clock guy needs to watch one ref and run the clock off of his direction. The refs made sure they put time back on but also gave Vidor an extra second here and there. Vidor tried to play uptempo that last possession. But they don’t look like that is something they practice or do regularly. Also, every play has 10 offensive players in a heap, the ball needs to be retrieved and set. The offense sets in a rush to the line then snap. It’s like a rhythm thing. But when they are waiting for the ref to set the ball, and get out of the way, it looked awkward. I am pretty sure the center was frustrated and the coaches too. Game was getting away from the refs at that point and they were trying to reign it in a little without affecting the outcome. Not a great job. Again.

Certainly some interesting officiating tonight. Not saying it cost Vidor the game, but they sure didn’t help. By far the most penalties Vidor has gotten all year. Way by far I’m thinking. And spotting the ball - lol, they turned it into an art form, especially that heavy set old umpire.

They brought it on senior night, figured they would. Why do we always get the bottom of the barrel referee crews when we play you guys? The clock operator should not be doing high school football games and should be banned from every stadium in the area. Stupid pass and long return was the difference in the game. Oh well, you can’t win them all but you do have to beat Lumberton.

Well, I just figured since Crosby had Dayton 49-0 at the half that the best offense in the district would at least have them 50-0? BHfan said they were playing 8th graders which would explain it though.

We need to take the ball after halftime, drive down there and score. That opening drive of the second half will give you a good idea of how this game is going to go in my opinion.

LCM was dominant in the first quarter but as the year has taught us the second-quarter can be rough. Livingston intercepted a tipped ball on the Bears side of the field and almost ran it in with 3 minutes left. Bears defense and a few penalties held them to a field goal. Look to see the Bears adjust. Livingston is no slouch.

Jabari Rice is one of my all time favorite kids. This league is going to be really fun to watch. Kind of surprised Savion Flagg isn’t on any of the preseason lists.
