Stump had Christine Michaels and Ryan Grant on the same team that lost to Dickinson in the 2nd round of the playoffs. That's a NFL RB and a NFL WR on the same team. Plus they had a kid that was playing LB that for Stump led team that eventually made it to Canadian League football. Dickinson was not more talented than that WB squad. Stump is the most overrated High school football coach in history! He can only win when he has better players than his opponents. If the talent is equal or the other team has better players, Stump loses!

One would think with all the “anti-vaxers “ revolting world wide, the Covid cases would be on the rise. However, since they are on the decline, you won’t hear a peep. Funny how that works. The pandemic is over. Stop the panic. Get on living your free lives.

Not sure if I should trust maxpreps but it says the Vidor defense only allowed 150 total yards to Huffman. Crazy that they got 2 scores out of that but still an excellent performance by the defense and they also created several turnovers. Hopefully they can bring it like that against Lumberton and carry us to the 1 seed DC. Our offense put up 300 yards vs HH but only scored once. We have to find the end zone against the Raiders and finish off those nice long clock eating drives. Edited: I had a misspelled word in the last sentence that made it a bit raunchy, sorry to those that may have seen that.

If the game wasn't so far of a drive for me I would be at this game because its our open week. Its really a toss up for me but if I had to pick I will go with Coldspring by 3 because of home field advantage. Diboll avg 45.8 points in district gives up 9.4 Coldspring avg 44.6 points in district and gives up 8.2 Home swing points me to a 24-21 win in coldspring favor but wouldn't shock me to see diboll win

I disagree that PNG gave away the win. They were down in the first half, then stormed back and then it was a hard fought game. Both teams had good plays and both had mistakes. But if you really want to talk about giving away...... that fumble on the 1 yard line TC had on the kickoff was the easiest score I've seen in a long time. Thats +7 right there.

And saw them play Silsbee then PA. Played without Princess. Still dominated Silsbee and PA. Still lots to work on, but I love to see the 6’1” PG and a really good freshman guard that got like 8 steals vs Silsbee and like 10 vs. PA. (2 quarter games with running clock). I say we’re poised for yet another deep playoff run. Let’s see how it unfolds…

In Stump's seven seasons at WB at least four of his teams were more talented than the West Brook team that made it to state in 2018. All Stump could muster with that talent is the 3rd round of the playoffs. Dude won district once in seven years! He is very much overrated as a football coach.

Vidor/Lumberton will bring in viewership and get alot of hits on all of their social media pages for the coverage over the week and for what's at stake on Friday. Pretty sure 12News or KFDM isn't gonna go two hours away to cover "basically a playoff game" when its highly likely not gonna be competitive.

Well, if it wasn’t expected to be competitive, then the importance of the match becomes inconsequential doesn’t it? I guess Hagar was (rightfully so) thinking you were indirectly commenting that both teams had a chance to stay alive which would imply that it could be competitive. Transitive property.

Stump has some good offensive linemen at Atascocita. He has more talent relative to the class than he did at Westbrook which is why he was able to go over there and start winning almost immediately. North Shore produces high major prospects at every position on the field regularly, Atascocita does not. He has a lot of talent but he doesn’t have the same type kids coach Kay does. Only a handful of schools do. Stump was at Westbrook 7 years, tell me what team he lost to in the playoffs that he should’ve beaten? Dude was losing to Dickinson, Pearland and Katy who all have more talent than WB does. Look at Reginald Samples’ record at Dallas Skyline, he couldn’t make it past certain teams either but you give him a few more pieces and Duncan like is a title contender every year now. Sometimes we think we’re working with more than we actually are.

I’d like for Huffman to beat Livingston but it wouldn’t upset me at all if the Lions pulled the upset. I just want the Pirates to win and HH go in as a 4 seed because I think they can give the east teams a hard time.

The police refused and told her to wait until later to see if he brings them back. He did not bring them back but rather murdered all three children and brought them to the police station. There he died in a shootout with the police. The Supreme Court ruled that there is no constitutional guarantee of police protection. There might be statutory state laws that demand the police respond to a situation but there is nothing in federal law nor the United States Constitution guarantees protection. So let’s see, the murder of three children with the police refusing to look for them is not unconstitutional but having feelings hurt is?

According to the article, he made $40 million being akin to a slave. He was able to come and go anywhere he wanted and could afford to buy just about anything he wanted….. but they made sure he was the right guy beforehand. AND…. it was all voluntary. He was not forced to play football in high school, he could’ve turned down a scholarship for college, he could’ve turned down millions for the NFL and walked away to do something else non-slave like. I wonder if any slaves from the mid-1800s would consider trading places with him. Yes, I assume according to him, everything is slavery. If you go for a routine job interview, they are probably trying to determine who is best just like the NFL. So I guess technically he is correct. Almost everything we do can in some way be compared to slavery. Well, at least with a couple of big exceptions…. it is all voluntary and compensated. I don’t think it is true but it seems that CK has a skewed view of what slavery was.

I was just reading on the Facebook page, he apparently still has a feeding tube but is starting to eat regular food. Yesterday they brought him food from Floyd’s and think he will be off of the feeding tube soon.

Just watched a little of Sterling vs F'Wood. I saw a lot of BH in the Mustangs except the QB isn't a running threat. They run that 3-3-5 just like BH on defense. It would be nice to see if Gilbeau(sp) can go this week because they throw it around a bunch. Big O-line but can't block that well I just hope everyone is focused this week

I have been kind of keeping up with it but there are so many comments other than from his relatives that it’s hard to find about his condition. After I posted a few days ago, he had a couple of setbacks search as a bacterial lung infection. He was treated at that time and from what I could gather responded well. It took a couple of days for him to start coming out of the induced coma. What I read yesterday was that he had become conscious but was having expected mental or neurologic issues. I don’t want to use their terminology but it sounds like he was fighting to regain consciousness The family member posted that the doctor said this is what is to be expected and it could last for a few days to weeks or months but if I remember correctly, it is unlikely to be permanent. From what I gathered, he is on the road to recovery but barring any other setbacks, it will just take a while with an unknown timeframe.

Polls will never put more expectations on certain programs than they put on themselves. Tigers are one of those programs. As well as they did last year in what was supposed to be a “down year,” I know they were still disappointed. That’s one way to tell a great program from a good one…
