Agree 100 percent. There is one BIG reason to choose soc to beat lh and that is the visuals, very athletic soc team with big college recruits. And understand that is their personnna, m o - however you want to describe it. And many people will choose them because that is the low hanging fruit, BUT football (in a one game playoff) is such a psychological game it would get Freud excited. First coaching staffs, I don’t know enough about soc staff other than the hc has been there 8 years and this is his furthest playoff run ? Why- using forensics one could say it was a talent explosion for some reason. This doesn’t help if soc if your going to play a serial killer ( i use this term keeping with the forensics theme- serial killer in that compared to regular people serial killers are different much like lh is different than the normal zone read shotgun team we see in texas hs football today. LH personna is a “ we can’t beat you athletically so we’ll beat you with scheme. Soc would win 18-19 out of 20 games against lh BUT they only play ONE. Lh will win by 1 touchdown in the game if the weekend or soc by 35. I want a good game and i am picking lh to have that one in 20 game tomorrow morning. I am excited to go tomorrow for the triple header as i reunion with several of my 78 Marlin Bulldogs teammates. Sv LB’s have stopped LBJ’s stud RB. He’s probably got 20 yards on 15 carries. Whole Sv defense is impressive. LBJ is very explosive. Even though Sv is up 24-7, they better not sleep on it. LBJ can score in a flash.

If you think HJ has the best overall player on the court then you must don't watch anyone else play or keep up with recruiting news. He's a solid player, not doubt, but not the best overall player. He'll be matched by Coleman tonight who's probably the best on the ball defender in the district and most athletic, and Coleman is not even the best player on HFs team. When they are firing on all cylinders, HF is impressive. It's just hard to determine which team will show up. Their best player always does, and will be particularly motivated for this game. Of course I'll be rooting for HF, but either team can win this game by 2-4 pts.

Just found out yesterday LH is suppose to be getting their starting safety back whose is 6’5 and athletic. He’s been out for the past 3 or 4 weeks. They definitely need all the help they can get on defense with a team like SOC. Here we go David versus Goliath. Go Panthers! I also got tickets for Saturday’s games. Leaving for Dallas at lunch today. Three great games scheduled for Saturday at Jerry World. Can’t wait to watch them all. Safe travels to everyone going!

Somewhere in my late 60’s, I gave up on marijuana being illegal. Can’t stop it. Can’t control it. It’s analogous to the prohibition of alcohol. I would suggest more lives are being ruined by mj being illegal than would be if it was legalized. I’m sure my position is opposite of most of my conservative friends, and that’s okay. Even though I turned 21 in 1966, I’ve never used it in any form our fashion. My knowledge of it is limited, although I’ve read it has many medicinal qualities. Why it’s not legal as a medicine is a question that I doubt anyone can answer. Heaven knows there are much more powerful meds/hallucinogens you can get a prescription for than mj. I could rant on about the advantages of legalizing mj, but that’s for another thread.

If Toby interview and did not get the job then he heart will melt and disappointing because he admire what his dad, Hooks, and Thompson done for WOS program tradition so he will make sure that he keep that program tradition carry on.
