Here’s a valid question for those of you that believe there was no significant voter fraud: If there was no voter fraud, why do the Democrats fight tooth & nail to prevent laws that help secure that voting is legitimate? First and foremost, voter ID. You have to have an ID for a gazillion reasons, yet the Dems claim that blacks are unable to get one (why? To lazy? Not smart enough? You’ll have to ask a rule making Democrat). And throughout all this I never heard them say whites can’t get one, or Latinos, or orientals, just blacks. The same Dems who require an ID before you can get into the Democratic Convention. Saw a reporter asking blacks on the street in NYC. They were indignant about the Dem insinuation, and rightfully so. Were I black that would urinate me off to no end. And what does that ID do? The same thing it does if you want to buy a pack of cigarettes - it ensures that the person voting as John Smith actually is John Smith. What do the Dems call it - voter suppression. I can only see one reason why someone would have a problem with laws to ensure the sanctity of voting, it interferes with your ability to cheat. Haven't seen Lumberton play. Doesn't look like they have any wins over quality opponents. We'll see. Honestly, Silsbee should beat everyone in district by an average of 20 points if this bunch is who we think they can be this year. There might be one or two teams that can keep things interesting for a quarter or two, but that's about it.

@BADSANTA I haven not seen either play this year but thing it will be more than 20. I'm thinking 88-48, I don't think Lumberton has the offense to get 50 on Silsbee. In order for Lumberton to keep this game close they have to play the half-court game and keep it low scoring, but I don't think they have the guards to do it.

I don't understand why people think that if they do not get a particular person that the whole athletic department will go into the crapper. Just cause the community wants one person does not mean they will be the only one that can be successful.. WOS is WOS.. they have the athletes and community support.. That is what is creating the winning tradition not just a small group of Coaches. winning is NOT going to be a problem WOS.. I've made may peace that Biden is the President and it won't be overturned but at least the voter fraud is a valid reason to be concerned. Sad that your hatred for Trump outweighs your concern to even want to know to what extent the voter fraud occured. The thing that gets me, is that with all the things that lead us to believe there was voter fraud, and I believe there was, the ones who think that it only affects the “Trumpers” are the real fools. It affects everyone and has taken away all of our precious right to vote for who we want to represent us. It’s truly amazing how the left thinks no harm has been done and also think the right are nothing more than conspiracy theorists and morons. Truly amazing. One team that played yesterday looked really strong. I didn't watch all the games to see everyone play. 7th grade has a kid that'll be going straight to varsity when he makes it to high school. Could be just as good as anyone currently on the Silsbee varsity roster. He'll get one year to play along side Jared and Drelon. 2024 Silsbee could be a nasty bunch.

I feel the BU team came out here and played well. They were short handed to start with out the leader of the group T-Arce.. They played this team tight until they found some matchups that they liked. Looks as if Soph Payia got hurt during the game. He might have been the best rebounder during the tourney for BU but he had to play big because of T’s absence. I think Dotson and Yates played well but they just needed one more kid to have a good game and they could have pulled it off. Porchia looked to be hurt also after that foul. Because until then BU was getting after they a””. Now fully loaded BU wins by 8-10pts.. Also think this tourney help a lot of kids gets some minutes and exposure. BU is in a better situation going forward depth wise

What I see is a media source just reporting what is on the minds of the local people. I guess you see this different than national news pushing an agenda? You have to report on what is the current vibe in your circulation. Next article could be about another candidate for HC @ WOS.

Unbelievably stupid. As an educator I’ve always worried when we have crawfish boils and teens come over and drink with their parents. I know that that’s legal, but the optics aren’t great. We’ve always just said they can’t do it. The idiocy in actually providing kids with alcohol when you work for a school is mind blowing.

I have to wonder at the level of stupidity. It isn’t because some teenagers got something to drink. OMG!! Shocking!! Uhhhhhh……. No. For two people in their position however, what were they thinking? Let’s see, surely these teenagers will keep their mouths’ shut and not talk to anyone about what’s happening and thereby causing us to lose our careers and become criminals. It should be a crime just to be that stupid……. They should have been charged with two crimes. One for giving alcohol to minors and a second for being an almost unbelievable level of stupidity.

He saw it was time to move on and semi-retired. He went and coached as an assistant with his son. Now I think he is fully retired.
