I disagree with this analysis wholeheartedly and unequivocally. Trump's behavior was not the best in the world, but far, far, far from driving over half of the country against him. That was the success of the media. Don't let your hatred of the man blind you of the facts. Many athletes act way worse than Trump, but as long as they are producing on the field, most will overlook much of the bad behavior. But if that athlete received 24/7 non-stop negative coverage and his successes on the field were dismissed and ignored, the bad behavior would be impossible to overlook. And I find it ironic that when you asked some of the Trump haters why the bile runs so deep, many of them reply with "Trump lies". So if "lying" is such a big deal to them, why did they turn around and vote for a known liar and plagiarist? Could it be that the media covered up Biden's lies? But let's place all of the blame on Trump.

The harder you work on your craft and play the game the right way you have these moments more often then others. These shots are never luck and earned before the game ever tips off. As they say..."Hardwork Pays Off"

Hang in there LU alums/fans. AB can recruit and coach. He demands defense and rebounding. If you want to play for him, you must defend and rebound the basketball. That goes for all five kids on the floor. Guards have to rebound...they can't stand around waiting for a kick-out to run the floor. Some kids do not want to buy in and do what it takes to play for AB. Those kids can grab some bench. AB will weed them out. He will find the right combination of kids. In men's college basketball, defense travels and wins games on the road. Get healthy, build the culture, and AB will win you some games. I've been following the LU games. They are close to stacking up some wins. I'm a firm believer in AB.

When Silsbee won the middle school championship in Houston he hit one. He hit one against Summertree back in November. He hit this one. Could be another one I don't remember. Some players just got that big time player vibe. They have the legendary stuff going for them: they're humble, they make the big plays, hit the winning shots, make good grades, don't say much about it. Harris is a star too. When a team and coaching staff got one like that you put the ball in their hands and let them take you as far as they can.

No, it was 81 million decent people who weren't willing to ignore the blatant evil that Trump presented on a daily basis. Everyone gets back healthy they will be competitive.

They played Sam to the wire on the road in their only conference game down 3 to 4 starters, with only 7 eligible players, including walk ons. In the game before that, they were the “healthiest” they have been all year (before the covid outbreak) and lost by 3 at home to a team that had just beaten SFA in Nacogdoches by 13. They are way better than just looking at a 2-12 record would suggest.

If this game wasn’t close initially, we wouldn’t have to worry about a last second shot. We were up by a good margin earlier. I would love to know what happened…
