  1. Reagan I get it you are win first kinda guy. State champs and trophy’s and all. But I’d rather a man/coach be honorable in coaching my son. We have enough criminals and immoral people in this world. A state championship would be great but how about get my son to the next level where he could earn a college scholarship or care about what grades he’s getting in school. I rather a coach teach my son about right and wrong. That’s what's going to help him get through life. There’s been a lot of people get a state championship that ended up in prison like some Dallas Carter players from the 80’s. I mean the way your talking you would hire Coach Rush Prospt which just got the most winning high school team suspended and fined for recruiting players and having booster money pay for housing for the kids. It’s not right, recruiting kids and paying parents is not the route I would send my son down. I can name high schools right now that will never get a state championship. They don’t have the athletes across the board and I don’t care what coach you send there the only way your going to win at those certain schools is through recruiting players.

  2. It's un-necessary too. The brand is still WOS, and they will play with purpose and meaning. If someone is not a Mustang they will not get it or understand it. "The Pursuit". If a school can't win district or have not been to a playoff game, they will not get the meaning. Do not feel bad for WOS we will be right there in everybody's grill come next fall, and all this B.S. will be flushed. Just venting a little my friend lol.

It’s the commies goal to have a shortage hence the push of defunding and liberal da s not doing there job so that crimes risesand it gets very bad……then big govt comes in for their so called rescue(take over) and put a national police force(see China). But the difference is here in the USA people are armed and many are very armed and a resistance exist far greater than any other nation…..hopefully voters will educate themselves and the indoctrinated will wake up out of their hypnosis before major blood shed occurs.

  11. Congratulations Coach Hickman. If Coach T likes this guy, then its a no brainer. We'll look back in a couple of years and laugh at some of these remarks. The path he (coach H.) has to take has already been laid many times. Don't change much at first and then make your tweeks.

  12. Seriously, I predict that big changes are in store. I think that the defense will not be the elite unit that it has been. Still good, but not in those "best in the state" conversations. The offense has had room for improvement for years. I predict 2nd or 3rd in District behind Silsbee and possibly a surprise by HF or BC. I think that year two (2023) will really tell the tale. Those seniors will only have been sophomores under CT. WOS doesn't realize how good they've had it coaching-wise, and I've got a bad feeling that they're about to get a big taste of what the rest of us have dealt with over the years. We all saw what happened when CT missed a game. And it's not just play-calling... it's the ability to get that intensity in the offseason, two-a-days, practices, and the weight room. There aren't a lot of Dan Rays and CTs walking around. On-the-job training isn't any fun when you have 5000 supervisors in the stands behind you. I hope I'm wrong.... it's a lot more fun when y'all are dominating.

Let me just ask a question. If you were in a car wreck and had your choice of where the ambulance driver could take you are you going to ask to be driven to Dayton or Liberty? Go ahead and drive me to Houston!!! I can hold out.

What’s insane, this guy may have a natural immunity that exceeds anything the shots can provide. How many of us know someone who’s repeatedly been exposed to Covid but never shown any symptoms? Personally I think this decision is based on politics and not on medical practices. Get a Woke Doctor, die a Woke death.

I've never seen anything like I've been witnessing in my life here.ppl just pointing the finger and just going against each other.and for whatever reason everyone wants to go to FB with. 17. MyFreeDoctor.Com Has Treated Over 150,000 COVID-19 Patients With 99.99 Percent Survival “We have a team of volunteer free doctors that donate their time to help treat these patients that come to us,” Dr. Ben Marble, the founder of myfreedoctor.com, an online medical consultation service, said at a roundtable discussion hosted by Sen. Ron Johnson. He added, “We deliver the early treatment protocols to them as early as we can, and we have a 99.99 percent survival rate. So, I believe myfreedoctor.com, the free volunteered doctors have settled the science on this—early treatment works, period!” Marble says that he and his small team of volunteer doctors prescribe Dr. Peter McCullough’s treatment protocol, which consists of hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies, prednisone, budesonide, and other low-cost generic drugs. They also prescribe vitamins D and C, and zinc. [Hidden Content]

  18. I agree One Chance. My son played at Southwestern in Georgetown. Had a few D1 preferred walk ons, D2’s and D3’s. Picked southwestern because it was close to his girlfriend in college station @ A&M. Beautiful area and close to everything. Belton just north of Georgetown and Austin. Trinity in San Antonio and San Marcos right there.

  24. A lot of coaches only see some athletes abilities to run fast or jump high and ignore the bad things they do because they are awesome athletes. Those coaches are always wondering why can’t we win at a high level? The good coaches know chemistry between teammates is what wins. I agree that these problems should have been addressed in preseason. He can still save the season and make a run in the playoffs if he makes the hard decision. Their is chemistry with some of the players and you can see it especially with the second unit and Cardinal 1s son but like I said above everyone loves the athletes so they will stick with that even though it may bury them.

  25. I know you don't honestly believe that every single high school football coach has REALISTIC expectations of winning state before the season starts.

  26. You are correct. And when the Republicans take over the House and Senate later in the year, they will idly sit by and watch this pos administration do what they want to. McConnell and Graham are pacifist, they need to impeach this f’er!!

  28. First, you are OK with the bad part of equation of what I said?! WOW! Buddy deals are OK with you. Interesting! Second, what's delusional, my friend, is not expecting of a coach what a coach expects from himself at the beginning of every football season. And THAT is a State Championship. And to further that delusion, when it's not achieve, people blame the kids! Rarely, here, have we seen the coach blamed. It's always the kids! Sure, my expectations are high. We pay a lot of taxes and the HC gets paid a lot of money. This is why I would have a time limit. When one has low expectations, like many here, you will meet those EVERY time!! It's just like hiring a contractor. If the expectations are not met, then you find somebody else. Right!! So what's the difference? Sometimes, my friend, we just need to connect the dots!!

  29. And looking at the definition of a machine gun, I believe the ATF may be correct. I watched a video a few months ago about the trigger where a guy was claiming that the ATF was wrong but his explanation seemed to fit the definition of a machine gun. It would be like a guy telling you that water is wet and he gave you a glass of Kool-Aid and saying this is not wet. The main point of that video was that the definition of a machine gun is firing more than one round with that single trigger pull. The guy then demonstrated using a weapon with that trigger and making it appear to fire on full auto. Then he defends the multiple rounds by saying it is not a single trigger pull. He goes on to describe it by saying that to make the trigger function as designed, you have to pull the trigger one time and hold it against the frame to make it work. That sure seems to sound like a machine gun. The defense of the trigger is that the trigger and the recoil of the gun forces your finger forward and with your continued backward pressure, firing another round. It is basically the trigger version of a bump stock. At least by this one guy’s video, he actually says something like you have to hold continuous pressure against the trigger. That would seem to fit the definition of one pull because the moment you take your finger slightly off of the trigger to allow it to reset, the automatic feature stops. I am not against the machine guns, I think the ruling in Miller on the NFA Is an incorrect ruling which I believe was overturned by Heller and later McDonald in the Supreme Court. No one has either questioned those rulings as they relate to Miller or they have not been able to get such a case in court. In the Supreme Court case of Miller, I believe they ruled that taxing machine gun was not taxing a constitutional right because the owning of firearms was not an independent right but the right of a militia. Under Heller and McDonald in fairly recent rulings, the Supreme Court ruled that owning a firearm was an independent right and had nothing to do with a militia. Those two rulings which seem to overturn Miller in my opinion, which is what makes the current machine gun laws legal.

  30. If I read federal law correctly (and it has be a while), ATF gets to determine some definitions. This is a common practice in both state and federal law. It is impossible to convene Congress to determine everything that is ever done on a day to day basis. A legislature certainly has the authority to make laws but in many cases they simply do not want to do so. If Texas Parks and Wildlife Repartment wants to change the limit on deer or ducks next year, should the governor call a special legislative session and have representatives in Congress determine how many duck should be killed? That would be ludicrous but there has to be a law in place that allows the setting of limits. So what both state and federal congresses do is delegate that authority to some agency. Examples would be that the Texas Department of Transportation has the authority to set speed limits, the county judge can order evacuations for an emergency and TPWD can set limits and seasons on fish and game animals. So when it comes to federal firearm laws, I believe the United States Congress has allowed ATF to set definitions or if not a specific definition, a ruling on if something meets a definition. It would be legal for Congress to pass along that authority and again it is done and common many times on the state and federal levels. Within that authority however a court of appeals or the Congress that gave the authority, can overturn a decision of the agency. I believe in this case the ATF has the authority to determine if something fits the definition of a machine gun. It appears as though they have made a decision that the forced reset trigger is a machine gun. By definition of federal law, a machine gun is the actual weapon or at the parts that can convert a weapon into a machine gun. An example would be that if you have an auto sear to convert an AR15 to a full automatic, You can’t simply take it out of the weapon by popping a couple of pins and claiming you don’t have a machine gun as the police approach. The sear is the machine gun definition because that is what converts it. So in this case it appears as though the FRT has been determined by the ATF to be a machine gun. I believe that is within their authority. As the guy in the first post/video states, there is a current case contesting that definition. Great, that is in what courts are allowed to do. The guy in the first video also claims that the ATF’s ruling violates their own definition. That is his opinion and if the court agrees, that will become the final ruling. But, he is just stating an opinion because apparently it is in the lawful appeals process. Whether someone likes or dislikes the ATF ruling, Congress has given ATF that authority. Under that authority I believe they can likely seize an item that is a felony at the moment. The only ways to legally stop that immediately in my opinion is an act of Congress (which simply will not happen), the US Department of Justice issue an order to an agency under their authority, the ATF, to not act (which simply will not happen) or a court stepping in and issuing a stay against enforcing that law/definition. My opinion for now is that the ATF has the authority to do what some claim they are about to do.
