If HF, Huffman and Livingston finish 8-4 and a three way tie (which btw I am predicting this outcome), then these teams will likely play seed games for #2-4. Most times a flip is done to determine which team gets the bye and play the winner of the other two for #2 seed. The other two would play for 3rd seed with loser getting #4 seed. Then the team with bye would play winner for #2 seed. These games would most likely be played between a Thursday-Saturday. I have also seen it determined by coin flips but I honestly do not see this happening in this scenario. Pretty sure no one wants to be #4 seed and face Silsbee 1st round. There are other series of games used in a three way but the one I spoke on is the most common used.

I don’t care about the race of kids either. I was just pointing out a once rural town on the west side of cattle country has a higher hit rate than North Shore in a certain demographic. It’s an anomaly that probably nobody else in the state can copy. There’s no more benefit at Aledo than there is at Arlington Martin who sends more kids D1 in every sport and produces better college players. The statistics just are what the stats is are.

Jasper hasn't beat Silsbee in so long they clam a game that didn't even get to half time for a win. Y'all aint won sh#?!!!! Both coaches declared that game canceled and no winner. But, the planets have aligned, the overlords have brought Jasper back south. The teams that make it to the playoffs will be battled tested and ready. That's a fact. They composed themselves and adapted. It was weird at first and they were somewhat at a loss as most of us were. But they solved the ball holding thing making it too costly for Lumberton and they only tried it once or twice in the 3rd. This kind of thing may come up again and the experience gained here will help them be ready for it. So you're not going to score 100. Your not even going to score 80. But when you run up a 31 point lead before the coaches pull the plug it ain't bad.

you realize Silsbee been on Jasper schedule by choice the past 2 seasons? apparently not.

In the late 90’s Coach Hand took a very young Huntington team to Woodville who was state ranked. He spread the floor the entire first half. Woodville never came out to challenge the ball and Huntington won that game 5-3. The best and worst coaching jobs I ever heard of and they were both the same game. You do what you gotta do.

Kountze is much improved from a couple of years ago but they are lite years away from the old dominant lions. Joubs doing a good job with what he has to work with.

Had one kid stand near the baseline and hold the ball, while his four teammates surrounded him. Then you just stand there for a whole quarter if you can. It's trash basketball if you can even call it basketball. You literally just choose to stand there and not play.
