Your spot on in your post. I was stationed in Seoul, Korea in 1993. I worked hand in hand with KATUSA soldiers ( Korean Alliance To United States of America) an became good friends with a lot of their soldiers. They use to tell me a lot of what your saying. But like you said in the US the news stations are voluntarily not covering what they should be covering. I believe a lot of people are finally waking up to that fact though. Truth always has a way of surfacing in time.2 points

My wife is Korean and over the years I have had an interest in the North Korea situation. More than any other country, NK is completely controlled. I have watched undercover videos and many videos from people who have escaped. It is quite obvious that controlling the press is the most powerful tool in oppression. North Koreans are convinced that they live in the most powerful country in the world. They are taught that the USA trembles at the thought of being completely overtaken by North Korea and that the USA is only allowed to exist by the graciousness of the North Korean leader. We send them food aid every year as part of being allowed to exist. North Koreans are told that the American military is weak. Why can North Korea get away with such over-the-top propaganda? Because they control what people know through the press. Opposition is not allowed. When you see some videos of people who have escaped from North Korea, you can see how stunned they are of what actually happens in the rest of the world. It is easy to control the masses when they have no knowledge. The mainstream media in the USA to some extent is like the press in North Korea. The main difference is that in North Korea it is forced with a penalty of opposition likely death and in the USA is completely voluntary. To completely ignore certain segments of news is to keep a percentage of the public unaware. To alter the news by skewing it towards a political opinion (but report it as fact), slants that view even further. It is like, I did not see it so it did not happen.2 points

Why hasn't the NFL rigged it for Dallas to get into the Super Bowl. Or the 2nd or 3rd round at least? They have the biggest fan base across the country. They also are the most hated team in the NFL probably. That would be entertaining? I don't know who the NFL is going to choose to give it to next year, but I hope it is my Dolphins.2 points

Be careful or you will be off of OnChance Christmas card list as he has very deep contacts and classified info on everything that goes in in Orangefield. Also, please don’t have a different opinion, he takes it very personal and assume you care nothing about the program. Did I miss anything from the reservation?2 points -
Is that like people that still think that the Democrats had nothing to do with the Steele dossier or the fake Trump impeachment evidence? Is that like the people who still think that Michael Brown had his hands up saying don’t shoot? Is that like the people that believe Tom Brady smashed his iPhone during the inflate-gate investigation just because it was time for a new phone? For six years they have been saying that Trump colluded with Russia and any claims to the contrary was Trumpsters ignoring the truth and to further their cult. Well, until Durham uncovered the truth. For six years they covered up the deceit but we are to believe that if voter fraud wasn’t uncovered in a couple of months, it can’t be true? You draw strange parallels and conclusions. I have not taken part in the discussions on various forums over election fraud but “zero evidence” is what other scams hang onto. Absence of evidence doesn’t mean evidence of absence.2 points

You guys know I'm pretty moderate, but lean right in most areas. That said, I don't hate the left, but some of the nonsense that's come from that direction the last several years is terrifying to me. In this article you can read about the residents of San Francisco (arguably the most liberal city in the country) recalling three ultra-liberal school board members and removing them from the board. It seems that the far-left in San Francisco care more about their children getting a good education than catering to the insane, ultra-work agenda of the furthest left. It restores my hopes in humanity a bit. ‘It’s a Bloodbath’: Deep Blue San Francisco Overwhelmingly Votes to Recall Far-Left School Board Members (msn.com)1 point

Even their super liberal mayor criticized them: “The voters of this City have delivered a clear message that the School Board must focus on the essentials of delivering a well-run school system above all else,” said Mayor London Breed, a fellow Democrat, in a statement on Tuesday night. “It’s time we refocus our efforts on the basics of providing quality education for all students, while more broadly improving how this city delivers support for children and families.” Breed, one of the most liberal mayors in one of the most liberal cities in America, had previously criticized the board for prioritizing “political agendas” over the actual intended functions of the board.1 point -

All 3 flip a coin. The "odd man out" gets the BYE. Example, 1 team lands on heads and the other 2 land on tails, the one that landed on heads gets the BYE. Hope this helps.1 point

This might be a stupid question but how does this coin flip situation work when three teams are involved?1 point

I never imagined wearing out the word “unbelievable”, but there it is. And the fact that I’m repeatedly using it describing actions by well educated (a lot of education but didn’t learn 💩) elected individuals, is even more remarkable. Says volumes about our institutions of higher learning. People go broke getting a college degree when in reality they should get an award of some kind for completing a course in being brainwashed. Maybe like a medical alert bracelet, except it says, I’ve Been Brainwashed”. Perhaps the educators should be tested for mental competence? Recently, when responding to an action taken by our Presidential Administration, the editor of the Babylon Bee (an online satire media) said he wouldn’t allow his people to write a story like it because it was too absurd. So I look up synonym’s for Unbelievable. Here’s several - implausible - far-fetched - cock-and-bull-jaw-dropping. Mine - I-can’t-believe-this-🐂-💩.1 point -
I hope you mean they’re "the best" at being good kids because they are not even close to the best at basketball. This years team couldn’t hold a candle to any of the teams from 2004-2010.1 point

Alvarez isn't because he as of today has a new job in Marshall. Probably figured why bother going thru the rest of the process once he realized/found out that Jasper wasn't going to play the role of PowerBall lottery. can't say for certain how much truth(if any) there is/was to the ," I HEARDS". do/did you know that before Alvarez got his first HC job in Pineland(West Sabine) he was on Coach Walkoviak's staff here in Jasper? Bronson is already on staff in role that suits him perfectly. ( don't get me wrong, I would have been ecstatic if he were becoming HC). thanks for the well wishes!1 point -

I also think HJ should be #1 over Argyle, despite their undefeated record. HJ with respectable losses to 6A #2 Summer Creek, 6A #6 Duncanville, and 6A Plano who are 25-9 out of the toughest basketball area in the state. HJ has wins over 6A #10 Austin, 6A #7 Cedar Hill, 6A #13 Houston Memorial , and 6A #23 SA Wagner. They have a win against 5A #20 Red Oak. They won in tournaments against #13 (all classifications) Lovejoy out of Georgia, and the #1 team (all classifications) from Colorado, Valor Christian. HJ's non-district schedule consisted of 21 games: 13 6A opponents, 6 of whom who are ranked, 2 5A schools, one ranked, and 3 4A schools, plus two highly ranked teams from out of state. 19 of 21 of those teams have winning records, and 20 of 21 made the playoffs. There is one tournament game where the opponent is not listed, but I would love to know who it was, because it's one HJ's few losses on the season. Argyle has wins against 3A #15 Gunter, 4A #8 Kennedale, 4A #9 Levelland, 6A #15 FW Boswell, 5A #8 Georgetown, which is pretty impressive, but their schedule has been MUCH easier than the Hawks, playing in a 3A tourney and a 4A tourney, where as the hawks played in 6A and national tourneys only.1 point -
