While Americans have been busy hating on each other, by race, by political affiliation, by vaccines, by anything we can find to hate each other for, Russias been preparing for war. While we’ve been weakening our military with vaccine mandates and insane wokeism, Russia has been building up theirs. While we’ve been trying to decide what gender we are, Russians are confident about who are men and who are women. While we’re taking steps to reduce oil production, Russia is pumping it out of the ground as fast as possible. So what happens if we get in a conventional war with Russia? Twenty years ago, I believe we’d crushed them, but now all bets are off. America has been on a course of self-destruction, a war with Russia might just expedite that endeavor.4 points

Always good when you can play a bad game, get a little wake up call, and still win by 17 and advance. Hopefully this lights a little fire under them.3 points

Trump had our nation and our economy prosperous and secure just 1.5 years ago. I say this even though Trump was no where near my first choice as a candidate. Now, since Big Tech and the hard left media manipulated the election to place Biden in as president, the nation and the now the whole world has gone to HELL. Thanks Dims.2 points -

From Occupy Democrats Twitter account. 2016 No civilian needs an AR-15, regardless of whatever mental gymnastics you do. You are a special kind of stupid. 2/24/22 (yesterday) Breaking, Ukraine’s interior minister announces that 10,000 automatic rifles have been handed out to the civilians of Kyiv as they prepare to fight tooth & nail to defend their homes against Putin’s invasion. RT IF YOU STAND WITH THE BRAVE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE. Well my, my, my.2 points

They probably would have finished the same. To much me,me,me on the team and not enough team. That showed last night and in previous losses with HJ and Huffman. The Washington team played together and should go far in the playoffs, if not outright win it. As soon as HF got down, one player tried to take on the whole Washington team and all the others could do was stand and watch. Washington was hitting shots and making great passes to the open man. They were just as excited to make a great pass as they were to hit a shot. You did not see that from HF at all during the big games over the last three years. You might say well, the coach could have changed that but even with the previous coach the same thing was going on. That has been the problem with them the last three years. This team won a lot of games over the last three years but overall were a big disappointment because they couldn't play together when they needed too. HF should be ok with the new coach in charge because the kids he has coming thru the next few years play together and share the ball.2 points -

Briles is a pos so we can exclude him from the conversation. But yes it matters when a coach gets to a program. Some classes are more talented than others. If Surratt is at Crosby these last two years maybe they do win. If he is at Crosby in 2000 then no I dont think they win as quickly.1 point -

The Horns were what we thought they were. Regardless of who or how they got there they were a third place team. Next year should be interesting in that district. HF had a very good JV but they will all be required to step up and play next year. HJ will add a couple of solid players from their JV but will return 2 really good players in Melvo and Samaha. The Hawks will be the favorites again going in to the season.1 point

bayou city 713 reacted to JimThorpe for a topic
I think the Drum was vastly superior to the Alamodome.... once you got inside. But getting inside was tricky. The best parking is in San Marcus. And like the man said, Austin is effectively closed on that weekend. At least it's closed to things that really matter like the UIL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT!!!! San Antonio is fun to visit and Alamodome access and parking are okay. You do have that long walk under the tracks with the stinky bats. The thing is that the Alamodome as a basketball venue is terrible. The tournament needs to be played in an arena built for basketball and not on a football field. How about the Ferrell Center in Waco? if you can stand that much green it would be great. Tournament tickets would be no problem. It seats 10,000 for basketball. Tons of parking with no bats or trains. Waco is fun to visit too. Chip and Joanna might show up. There is a problem with accommodations. Just like in San Antonio, most of the rooms in Waco and San Antonio are gobbled up by people going to that ridiculous thing in Austin. Back in Austin they've replaced the Drum and now we have the new Moody Center..... they built it on top of the only good parking for the Drum. I guess they'll tear down the Drum next to make parking space for the Moody. But the best parking will still be in San Marcus. Or you could park in Waco at the Ferrell center parking lot.1 point -
