While Americans have been busy hating on each other, by race, by political affiliation, by vaccines, by anything we can find to hate each other for, Russias been preparing for war. While we’ve been weakening our military with vaccine mandates and insane wokeism, Russia has been building up theirs. While we’ve been trying to decide what gender we are, Russians are confident about who are men and who are women. While we’re taking steps to reduce oil production, Russia is pumping it out of the ground as fast as possible. So what happens if we get in a conventional war with Russia? Twenty years ago, I believe we’d crushed them, but now all bets are off. America has been on a course of self-destruction, a war with Russia might just expedite that endeavor.4 points

Always good when you can play a bad game, get a little wake up call, and still win by 17 and advance. Hopefully this lights a little fire under them.3 points

Trump had our nation and our economy prosperous and secure just 1.5 years ago. I say this even though Trump was no where near my first choice as a candidate. Now, since Big Tech and the hard left media manipulated the election to place Biden in as president, the nation and the now the whole world has gone to HELL. Thanks Dims.2 points -

From Occupy Democrats Twitter account. 2016 No civilian needs an AR-15, regardless of whatever mental gymnastics you do. You are a special kind of stupid. 2/24/22 (yesterday) Breaking, Ukraine’s interior minister announces that 10,000 automatic rifles have been handed out to the civilians of Kyiv as they prepare to fight tooth & nail to defend their homes against Putin’s invasion. They probably would have finished the same. To much me,me,me on the team and not enough team. That showed last night and in previous losses with HJ and Huffman. The Washington team played together and should go far in the playoffs, if not outright win it. As soon as HF got down, one player tried to take on the whole Washington team and all the others could do was stand and watch. Washington was hitting shots and making great passes to the open man. They were just as excited to make a great pass as they were to hit a shot. You did not see that from HF at all during the big games over the last three years. You might say well, the coach could have changed that but even with the previous coach the same thing was going on. That has been the problem with them the last three years. This team won a lot of games over the last three years but overall were a big disappointment because they couldn't play together when they needed too. HF should be ok with the new coach in charge because the kids he has coming thru the next few years play together and share the ball.2 points -

Briles is a pos so we can exclude him from the conversation. But yes it matters when a coach gets to a program. Some classes are more talented than others. If Surratt is at Crosby these last two years maybe they do win. If he is at Crosby in 2000 then no I dont think they win as quickly.1 point -

The Horns were what we thought they were. Regardless of who or how they got there they were a third place team. Next year should be interesting in that district. HF had a very good JV but they will all be required to step up and play next year. HJ will add a couple of solid players from their JV but will return 2 really good players in Melvo and Samaha. The Hawks will be the favorites again going in to the season.1 point

This is how I think the primary will go. Abbott will win with maybe 60% or more of the vote and it will be over. But as a possibility, the protest vote will be split 3 ways. That really does not matter in the primary election. There will be a runoff if Abbott gets 1 vote less than 50%. Abbott can get 49%, West can get 20%, Huffines 19% and Prather 12% and there will be a runoff between Abbott and West. Now if 100% of the protest vote goes for West, he likely wins. I just don’t see that happening however. Assuming roughly the same people vote in the runoff, West might get 75% of Huffines and Prather voters but he will not nearly overcome Abbott only needing a couple of points. I have seen too many comments and other forums such as, I am voting for a Prather/Huffines/West in the primary but if he is not in a runoff, I voting for Abbott. The only way that I see Abbott losing in the primary is if he only gets about 35% of the vote and is in a runoff. If 2/3 of the voters are not for him in the primary, he has a significant chance of losing. If he is in a runoff but gets over 45% in the current vote, I don’t see any other candidate overcoming the only 5% additional support he needs.1 point

Liberty, Livingston and Shepherd head basketball coaches coach football. Also, Hardin-Jefferson head coach coaches cross country. Same for Splendora. I believe Huffman is the only head basketball coach that doesn't coach other sports.1 point -

Those coaches weren't basketball coaches so them only winning 2-3 games a year made since. As far as the 4 players that came over, only one was on varsity and a ranked player with college intrest prior to coming and he wasn't transfering but returning to the district. The other 3 were talented freshman who left BU for academic reasons or homes got damaged in the flood. I know at least two of them are honor society and have academic scholarships. Rideaux helped those 3 develop into all district and one into an all region player. This notion of recruiting needs to stop as it is a lie! Those boys came to HF due to circumstances and decisions outside of basketball! My son returned to HFISD (yes he went to the elementary school he and his brother) purely for academic reasons as he was already being recruited and ranked Texas Top 100. He has a 4.0 and multiple academic scholarships that will go along with his basketball where ever he goes. Stop throwing shade at these kids and their families! These are good kids from good families and don't deserve to have that lie hanging over their heads. My son lost his entire junior and along with it D1 interest because of lies, jealousy, and deceitful tactics from adults in education and administration that are supposed to be all about these kids success and not their own personal vengeance, careers, or a dang basketball record.1 point -

Hendrickson has a couple of 6 footers, one being 6’2”. Have to go at those bigs and make them work on both ends. I say we’ll have better guard play. Can’t have lapses on defense. Most importantly, we need Herculean games from our 3 senior starters (3 year starters). Hey, we’ve beat this team last year. Let’s do it again. I predict 66-60 BU!1 point -
