And these guys: And this school and their dedicated kids: So the story is told to us by a source very close to the board of trustees at the school, every year at spring break rather than the kids go to the beach, get drunk or arrested or get into trouble, they save money and apply to perform at Disney. For the last 9 years, they have performed. Each year is the same. The band plays, the pom squad, and children practice for months with their blood sweat, and tears – they play two songs and then march to the Port Neches Fight song! Then the big-time starts as the kids get to enjoy the park with fake Micky, Minnie, and all the other gang, even Goofy. Disney is now a multi-billion dollar mega-machine. They own ABC and other media groups. They are woke. So as they perform, somebody gets in touch with management and this happens: And everyone goes, “who is this numbnuts?” Well, here is who he is: So we dig around a little and we find out that Chief Chucky is not only a democrat but a huge donor in the party. A huge Biden supporter and well known for his political antics including what we are told are threats – rather than a feather. So Disney, because they are democrats and woke, and stupid, issue a presser regarding these beautiful kids that have pride enough to do the SAME ROUTINE has they have done for 9 years! But no…because Disney is now woke – they are going to throw the kids out. Here look: Bwaaa! Just like the rest of the WOKE – they lie again. Here is our take. Disney should issue an apology to the children and the citizens of Port Neches, Texas. And as for the rest of us, don’t go to Disney and save your average of $5,000 for a family of four. These people that run Disney, and those that are involved in the Indian nation such as their Chief are an embarrassment to this country. And here is a little suggestion to you kids at PNG – we hope and pray your leaders and government instructors step up, stand up, and teach you the REAL American history. Never forget – you did nothing wrong. It is, again, the adults that have allowed this to happen. Bottom line – GO INDIAN NATION IN PORT NECHES! GOOD, GOD! SO WE NOW HAVE REACHED THE LEVEL OF MATURE BUSINESS LEADERS NOT STANDING UP FOR OUR CHILDREN!?!? What is that saying? Do elections have consequences? Remember that this November. I don't think there are any more straws for you to grasp at. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that “suspects” (in the context of Coach T’s quote) are players who may not make the team because their effort is SUSPECT, or their conditioning is SUSPECT, or their talent is SUSPECT.

I thinks it could be a little bit of everything you mentioned. It’s a problem when smaller schools have more kids try out for the baseball program then Nederland did the past few years as well. In my opinion Nederland needs a overhaul. Been living in the past to long! It’s time for a new era of coaching and kids to step up and make something happen. Not going to happen reliving the past or blaming kids. Starts with leadership/culture of athletics and the kids will follow.

Some folks have known but I will make it public. My time as a full time administrator/broadcaster is up. I told my wife of 33 years that when she retired from teaching that I would retire with her to the beach. She retired last May and I told her I would finish out the football and basketball seasons of this year then I would join her. (would have joined her in May but needed to stay on after the passing of our beloved admin WOSGrad). I am so ready to be a beach bum. I have enjoyed these past 17 years here on the site. I have seen it grow from just a little message board to now be considered a valuable media outlet. It truly has been a labor of love. First of all, I want to thank Jordan Wilson, the owner of this site, by inviting me on as a staff member and eventually an administrator. He trusted me with the help of running this site and allowed me to "do my thang" and start my broadcast career. It has truly been a blessing. Thanks I want to thank Todd Broussard (WOSGrad) who is looking down on us from heaven. He has been my partner in crime for all these years and is the reason this site is what it is today. He was the man!! I dearly miss my old friend and I hope that he is up there saying "job well done my friend". Thanks Todd for everything you did for me and this site. I want to thank all the staff members here. Particularly Lucas, Mack, Robert, Terry, Matthew and all of the other staff. You have helped make this the place to be as for Southeast Texas sports. Thanks for all the support over the years. Thanks to all the coaches that I have come to know and work with all these years. Thank you for your support and cooperation and your acceptance of me and SETXsports. I am truly grateful. Thanks to all the members here who really are what makes this site so great. I have become friends with several here and I cherish all the times we have spent on and off this site. God Bless all of you. I wish all and this site the very best. Given the fact that Walt Disney himself proudly posed with huge chieftain head dress, and the people who run Disney today proudly post that image on their website, the name "Disney" should be immediately removed from any and all parts of the company, and those who allowed his picture to be prominently displayed on their site should be immediately fired. Certain small circles have made some racist claims about CT. If as you say, the term suspect refers to a criminal, it does not single out a race. If a coach from another school. say one with a majority of white athletes, were to use the term "suspects", would it be racist? I assume not. So because of where CT coaches, his comment is racist? Reality is my friend, you have twisted this into a race issue because of the race of the athletes which in turn makes you the racist.
