  1. With the school board looking to change the name again at the stadium, why not transfer the name at the stadium on campus at West Brook to the new stadium? Can't think of a more deserving man to have his name on that stadium.

  6. Coach Brooks is adding some major pieces. Got a commitment from a juco all American PG earlier this week and will be announcing one from a 6-8 all American wing who is a terror on both ends of the court shortly. In addition, should have another commit from another PG, filling the team’s biggest need.

  12. Sometimes a threat is all you need! From the article: "Back in 1967, the Reedy Creek Improvement District agreement was created to lure Disney to Florida. The agreement allows the district governmental powers to facilitate recreational projects and tourism. Florida's legislature felt that it would benefit the state if recreational organizations had the power to act as their own government in areas like property development, water control, public utilities, law enforcement, and fire protection. The mouse eagerly took the cheese... If Florida legislators carry out their goal of repealing the Reedy Creek Improvement District agreement, Disney might find its magic kingdom turning into a castle in the air, blown away on the winds of outrage from consumers who just want Mickey back." From what I understand, this agreement is a special tax status. Aiming for their pocket books. Excellent! [Hidden Content]

  22. I forgot to include in my previous post the ultimate hilarity in InMagaWeTrust's post. As childish as the whole post is, the part that puts the cherry on top is Item number 3. InMagaWeTrust states that all politicians are corrupt. If true, what happens when American elects a non-politician to office. Oh wow, we have a case study. Who does he complain the loudest about being corrupt (yes, even you InMagaWeTrust can get this one correct)...the non-politician. So if all politicians are corrupt, and we elect a non-politician...who (in his eyes) is even more corrupt, who do we vote for? Should we vote for a corrupt politician or a corrupt non-politician. To avoid corruption, deductive reasoning concludes that InMagaWeTrust thinks we should vote for...well, I don't know. InMagaWeTrust, who should we vote for to eliminate political corruption...a politician, a Hollywood elite, a commoner? Please guide us in our next selection. I have a feeling that by the time the next GOP president takes office, TDS disease will fade into oblivion and a new Liberal disease will take it's place.

  24. The real truth: InMagaWeTrust has proven on far too many occasions that he suffers from extreme TDS and has no objectivity...and has established a less trustworthiness rating than pretty much anything in existence. Everyone knows his opinions are trash. (Sorry dude...you can't complain after all of the lies and disinformation you have perpetuated.) I have thought about the last sentence in his post...like a child...and as every child can comprehend...many people play both sides. The laughable part is that the sentence is on a childlike level, but the poster is under the impression that it is thought provoking. That is hilarious. Think about it InMagaWeTrust. When it comes to Trump posts, you embarrass yourself more than CardinalBacker. That is a feat worthy of...well...pure, unadulterated embarrassment. I'll give you a trophy for persistence. You try harder than anyone to show your TDS affliction. Sorry Cardinalbacker, I thought you took the lead until InMagaWeTrust felt the need to grace us with the return of his comical rhetoric. BigGirl fell to a very, very distant third place.

  25. People don’t have a clue what goes on today. I would estimate that PA and Beaumont in Jefferson County, there are probably 50 of what the FBI classifies as major crimes such as aggravated assault, murder, sexual assault, arson, burglary and robbery. That doesn’t include the 3 Mid County cities, the county jurisdiction outside of those cities and all of Orange and Hardin counties. So let’s say the immediate Golden Triangle area has 75 major crimes “each day”. That is over 500 per week. With the talk of the Internet spreading the word, how many of those 500 major crimes do we hear about? In truth a lot more crime was covered in the 80s and 90s than there is now. Anytime the police make a report, the basic information is public record and anybody can access it almost immediately. Back when the newspapers and the television stations actually had several reporters, they would show up at many of our scenes. It was common practice when I was a Night Shift patrol officer that when we had a major scene such as a bad vehicle accident, a house fire, a shooting, etc., once the scene was secured, we started looking for a place to stage the media. We knew all three television stations and both newspapers were going to show up and maybe some other people. I did many newspaper interviews and several TV interviews at that time. That was including things that happened at 2 AM. If I went to a major scene today and grabbed a couple of patrol officers and said, find a place to stage the media, they would look at me like a three headed monster and wonder what the heck I was talking about. Better yet would be me asking who wants to do the on camera interview. Even new newspaper reporters were given what is called the police beat or maybe blotter reports in large cities. On many nights they would show up at the police station about 9 PM and request all of the police reports from the previous 24 hours. We would give them a stack of maybe 100 reports in PA. They will flip through the reports and find 2-5 things that looked interesting to write stories. They would then go to the newspaper office and write their articles so they could finish them in time for the midnight printing. Good luck if you can find that in today’s Internet media reporting.

  26. Perhaps Biden is a part owner. If so, there is no process. No rules. No truth. Biden is undoubtedly, no 🐂💩, the biggest liar to ever be President. Trump couldn’t hold a candle to him. For underhanded, low-life politics, he surpasses Nixon. Seriously, this guy couldn’t get elected on the school board in Evadale.

  27. To clarify.. when a coach wins a title one year, but not the next.. it’s because it was against better coaches? I’m really trying to figure out your system of what makes a good coach. It’s difficult. Or.. as with every year.. teams lose seniors. Does that factor? Or is it that they became a worse coach or played better coaches? Or both? By the way.. I never got an answer about Phil Danaher. Elite coach or not?

Looking at the map, Fort Bend Marshall and Stafford are nearby to Westbury to the SW, Willowridge to the south, Sharpstown to the NW, Bellaire to the north, Madison to the SE and Worthing to the east. That's without getting into the charters and privates that were mentioned, like Strake Jesuit, Episcopal, and Kinkaid.
