Joe had been plagued by headaches for many years. They were driving him crazy, so he went to his Dr. Doc said, I can cure your headaches but it will require castration. You have a rare condition that causes your testicles to press on your spine & the pressure creates a bad headache. Joe was shocked & depressed. Would life be worth living? But alas, he really had no choice. When done, as leaving the hospital, he was without a headache for the first time in 20 years, but still felt he was missing something. But yet he was a different person, so he was going to start a new beginning. He saw a Man’s Clothing Store & decided that’s just what he needed. He entered the shop & an elderly tailor came up. Joe told him, I’d like a new suit. The old man eyed him & said, Okay, a 44 long. Joe laughed & said, That’s right, how did you know? Old man said, Been in the business 50 years. Joe tried it on, looked in the mirror & was pleased with what he saw. Old man ask, Want a new shirt? Joe said, Sure. Old man - 34 sleeves with 16” neck. Joe said, Right again, you do know your stuff. So the old man ask, Howabout new underwear? Joe thought for a sec, & said, Well sure. Old man said, Size 36. Joe laughed, Ah ha, I got you, I’ve worn size 34 for 20 years. Old man said, “You shouldn’t wear a 34. It’ll press your testicles into the base of your spine & give you a horrible headache. New suit $400. New shirt $60. New underwear $6. Second opinion, PRICELESS.

I’m at a loss to see how anyone (with at least a double digit IQ) could use the Liberal MSM sites for their news. They pushed the fake Russian Collusion story for three years. Yes, three years. Same, very few things should be left to the federal government, the Constitution gives the federal government very few enumerated powers. Our founding fathers knew what would happen with too much centralized power. I would have to say they have been proven right…sadly.

They aren’t successful because the Subpar AD keeps hiring his Subpar buddies who shouldn’t be head coaches as BU’s head coach. He does this because they don’t want a new proven head coach to come in and clean house and bring in a new coaching staff. Because the existing coaches all have ties to him or administration some how. Beaumont needs to clean house upstairs and bring in new administration and get the academics up to par first then forget the buddy buddy crap and bring in a proven coach that knows how to discipline and turn programs like this around. Bring back the desire in these kids to want to play football and enjoy playing football. Make them want to be as dominating as their basketball team. They have the talent there. They just need the right people to get it out of them.

Now this has homehow changed over to a bash on Beaumont. We were taking football. But people fail to realize as far as keeping it related to sports (all that other riff raff can go to the political forum), West Brook just made it to the state title game a few years ago. So apparently there is football talent in Beaumont.

Pretty rough to be a person of color during those peaceful times of the 50s. And I'm not talking about some of the made-up racism nonsense we deal with today. But I have no doubt that for some groups the 50s were a nice time. But that just kinda goes to the point I was making that "the good old days" generally aren't much better than the current, just different. I had some great experiences growing up in the late 80s and early 90s, but I don't think things were necessarily better then, I just think the things that are bad now are different from what was bad back then.

you know, I've always kinda thought it was funny when people talk about how bad things are now, and how good they used to be. Looking back in our country's short history, and seeing all of the violence and lawlessness of the wild wild west and displacement of native americans, slavery and violence towards african americans, all the gangster stuff in the first half of the 20th century, the drug/gang wars of the 80s-2000s, I have a hard time figuring how things were that much better at any point in the past apart from certain people being able to openly discriminate/hate groups of people they didn't like. Now don't get me wrong, there's a lot of woke nonsense that I don't like these days, but actual violent acts are no more common or senseless than they always have been, and our behavior as a society doesn't really seem much worse either.

Because Beaumont is a cesspool? The entire city is apathetic? It's more Western Louisiana instead of East Texas? That entire school district is a septic wound that continually gets covered with a wart bandaid. They keep making "upgrades" that "are best for the kids" but don't want to admit the adult decision makers are screwing it up for the kids. I also noticed the question never mentioned if the infinite change in administration that can't allow for consistency.
