  1. Mockingbirds are the grouchy old men of the animal kingdom. Always in “GET OFF MY LAWN” mode.

  2. Another of the good guys killed while on a domestic disturbance call. An obscure Officer in an obscure town in SC. It’s not that Officer Barr was someone special. He’s one of thousands, but really, most are special. I’m just sick of this senseless killing of some of our best. Much like my heart breaks when I read of some of our military folks dying in a senseless tragedy. Daily these hero’s put on their gear and try and protect us from the crazies out there. They stand between us and these crazies. I, for one, am sick of it. RIP Officer Barr ✝️✝️✝️ [Hidden Content]

  5. I’ve said it countless times over the years but two things I hate placing any value in are JV records and 7on7 scores. That being said, to somewhat break my own rule I’ll say based on what I saw yesterday at the 7on7 tournament in Dickinson that Crosby has more than sufficient talent to cover the losses at the skill positions from last year. The two places I was concerned were the defensive line and the secondary. Even with the loss of Kirkwood it looks like the secondary will be better overall. We’ll see about the d-line in Spring ball, which starts next week, but the LB core looks so solid with the Summer Creek transfer finally being eligible that we just need to find three guys to keep them clean vs a McCoy Casey type dominant replacement up front we were going to miss. Myles threw for 32 tds and 3 ints last year. When a kid knows he can take off and most likely pick up the first down it’s hard to get him to take more chances with the football. However, I would gladly take two additional interceptions added to that total if it meant the opportunity for another 8-10 touchdown receptions by our receivers. 40 tds and 5 ints doesn’t sound that bad. As long as we stay/stayed healthy Crosby was going to be in good shape this year just due to the talent in this range of classes we have playing varsity right now. Depending on how the line of scrimmage shakes out between Spring ball and Fall camp, we might be in very good shape.

I remember as a kid, we always had one dog & cat. The cat would be walking across the backyard and the Top Guns couldn’t have done it better. Mockingbirds would swoop down and peck or claw their backs from behind. Cat would jump 4 feet up - I always figured because they were scared & didn’t know what had got them, lol. I’d laugh my tail off. The birds would land on a tree or clothesline and squawk to high heaven. Bird laughing I’m sure. 😂😂🤣😂😂. Yup, them mockingbirds are about the toughest regular size bird in the animal kingdom. If they were the size of Eagles, we’d all be looking over our shoulders.

  7. About time a major corporation didn’t bow down to the liberal administration we have in place. Other businesses need to grow a pair and follow suit.

A blonde woman is driving down the road and happens to notice that she’s low on gas. Seeing a station she pulls in and starts filling her car. While pumping her gas she notices she locked her keys in the car. When she goes inside to pay she ask the attendant if he has a clothes hanger so she can attempt to open the doors herself. She goes out and is working vigorously trying to Jimmy the lock. Ten minutes later the attendant goes out to see how she’s doing. Outside the blonds is moving the hanger back and forth and up and down, while another blonds inside is saying, A little more to the left….a little more right……

Lmao. I have a Dachshund that is slightly overweight. When let outside, he runs down the ramp into the yard knowing that there may be a squirrel to chase. Of course he will never catch one, but he tries anyway. One day, a squirrel had ventured a little too far from the closest oak tree and was in, what I call, no man’s land. Ruger ( that’s my dog ), ran down the ramp, into the yard and had the squirrel dead to rights. Ruger almost got him. The squirrel went about 5 feet up the trunk, turned and barked at Ruger. I think Ruger stared at him thinking…..if only I was a little lighter I would have had you arse. Lol Funniest thing I have seen involving a squirrel is a squirrel deciding to run the gauntlet down a power line and a mockingbird chasing him. Everyone should witness that action.

  15. Agree, need more corporations to start standing up to this woke nonsense. Disney has been a great lesson I would think.

  16. The mask deal was a complete scam. I am not minimizing covid, it was bad, had several folks I personally knew pass from it. But to try and sell the idea that painter’s masks stopped the spread of anything was insulting to anyone with common sense.

  17. That is a relatively common occurrence. If you see any kind of crime article pop up on the Facebook news sites, you can probably count the seconds before you get a comment like…. “Oh… The race wasn’t mention so they must’ve been white!!!”. Oops…. It is like a number of people have comments saved to copy and paste and peruse the sites, waiting to pounce.

  18. I guess not only him for our program but throw Brian Barbay for bringing Coldspring back to revelance again in the early 2010s in which I had the pleasure of playing for him his first year as head coach in Coldspring back in 07-08
